  1. Happy we tried day everyone.
  2. Thanks for the clarification, I’ve updated my earlier posts to point out my error. Apologies, hopefully you’ve at least learnt something (even if that’s only that I need to read things more carefully!)
  3. Based on the other criteria not the games/minutes one (although I’ve got confused as to if @bluebruce thinks Ohashi is on 14 or 15 points!)
  4. 25% of matches + 50% of minutes. (Both exclude matches when suspended/injured)
  5. It’s non English, so there’s Hyam and Hedges too - you also seem to have forgotten Tronstad 😬
  6. Ohashi would need to be on 15 points (apologies for earlier error regarding this) which I think you now believe he might be. If he is then yes to one full transfer window (and yes to a year for minutes played) Regulation below:
  7. For four slots you need at least 35% of your ‘weighted’ minutes played to have been by English players. A very quick calculation suggests we’re on over 55%** ** On top of this, if an English player is injured, his minutes are pro-rata’d during the time he’s injured. ** On top of that, if an English player is out on loan, 50% on the minutes he plays on loan are also added. TLDR - I don’t think there’s any risk of us losing any spots for next year.
  8. In this circumstance, the qualifying time is one full transfer window having passed since the player was registered. This suggests we can apply for Toth and Ohashi to become non ESC players on Tuesday. Presumably (I’m guessing here!) we could sign a foreign player tomorrow and then wait one day to apply for his permit. The one year qualifying time only relates to being able to transition to a non ESC player through playing the requisite minutes for the club. Edited to correct - player needs 15 points (ie auto qualifies) - having enough points for exceptions panel isn’t sufficient.
  9. It probably made him feel cleverer than he is.
  10. We’ll have no digging further into the stats here sir.
  11. 5 in 23 isn’t great but 4 in 29 is worse (BTA this season).
  12. I’d let the cleaner use Waggott’s head as the bog brush 😁
  13. Had to look that up, you’re a year out but that’s amazing!
  14. 5 bookings only results in a ban up to and including the 19th league game. Earliest suspension is now 2 matches for 10 bookings. edit - just spotted @islander200 has already covered this.
  15. Don’t forget we’re only getting that money in installments…
  16. Anyone know why this is on ITV4?
  17. I think they’re getting obsessed with their defensive record and it’s costing them points. The same thing happens when teams have an unbeaten record going and keep the draw rather than going for a win.
  18. You’re almost certainly correct but he’d have to at least consider how his actions will look to any prospective employer. Can we threaten to send him back to Russia? 😄
  19. Call his bluff, remove him from the squad list, make it clear he won’t play again this season.
  20. Spending money doesn’t guarantee success but clubs who succeed have nearly always spent money. Perhaps someone could explain that to Waggott in words he’ll understand.
  21. Second on list (ref must have thought it was careless as there was no booking):
  22. I see India were allowed to manipulate the rules today. Quelle surprise
  23. It’s okay, we all know you meant to type Tronstad 🫢
  24. So good you named him twice 😁
