  1. A near half million pounds increase in interest paid on the overdraft/other loans. Pretty impressive for a club where the owners always pay the bills… 🤔🧐
  2. I wonder if any of the £6 million of potential contractual costs became due when Sammie made his international debut.
  3. Unless we spend ‘the Chaddy budget’ you’d think the Wharton sale should assure we’re ok for 21/22 to 23/24 cycle. There’s also some deductions to be made from the losses for FFP purposes (eg academy costs). I think our cash flow position is currently a much bigger concern than our ability to meet FFP.
  4. Oasis - Don’t Look Back In Anger
  5. Have you included the anticipated Raya money in your £6 million or would this count as ‘plus parts of any fees for players sold in the summer’?
  6. The Streets - Dry Your Eyes
  7. Ah, that does make sense 👍 I don’t know the answer to your question but what I do know is I’m happy with any mitigation that keeps them above Burnley 😄
  8. Everton deducted a further two points for another FFP breach. The punishment was reduced from the requested 5 points and amongst the reasons for this was they’d already had a points deduction this reason. Surely a second breach should bring a bigger punishment rather than a lesser one?? Of course, we still await Manchester City’s punishment…
  9. Which needs to be used to pay the running costs of the club as the owner’s can’t send money from India… It isn’t difficult. Edit sorry @Mattyblue I’ve now seen you’ve already said this.
  10. Stats should never be used on their own as they can be cherry picked to prove anything you want - for example… JDT in the league this season 1.17 points per game extrapolated over a season = 54 and almost certain to be safe JE in the league this season (including Stoke) 1 point per game extrapolated over a season = 46 point and likely to be relegated JE without the Stoke game 0.82 points per game = 38 points and certain relegation.
  11. I used to go to a few Bradford City mid week matches when I worked half a mile from their ground. The standard was atrocious but the games were (on the whole) very entertaining.
  12. The Rovers website (does this out rank Elliot Jackson as a source? 🤔🧐) included the following in the Birmingham City match report… A solitary strike from Andre Dozzell was the difference as Rovers suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Birmingham City at St Andrew’s in John Eustace’s first official game in charge.
  13. It would appear not. ’Our initial allocation for this fixture is 1000 tickets. Supporters should note that this is an ALL-TICKET fixture – there will no sales on the day’ https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/march/20/ticket-news--bristol-city-v-rovers/
  14. They did, and Leicester went down with 52 in 2008 i looked this up, my memory isn’t that good 😄
  15. 36 wins in 99 (as Swansea manager) and fans are waxing lyrical over him. A sad indictment of modern day football.
  16. Because their manager is Russell Martin and his teams only play ‘the right way’
  17. The additional silver lining is the Everton Dingle result
  18. Cushion before kick off 0.83 points per games remaining Cushion after the final whistle 0.80 points per games remaining As you were…
  19. First league game Southampton haven’t scored in since September.
  20. He signed one just over four months ago
  21. Surely this means a goal for Gallagher too? 🧐
