Venkys should have saved us from relegation by bringing Mowbray in a month sooner and giving him a window. It might have cost a million to save losses of around 6 million from relegation. It's on them as is not investing whilst in the thick of the automatic spots twice in the last 2 years and now as we all predicted those chances are long gone. All those scenarios are on them.

It's a gimmick and pointless on every single level as is most of the eco guff being put about.

Never going to be a normal crowd for this they never are at most places and here about half the regulars usually turn up. No doubt with this latest stupid trick they are playing it'll turn 5/6k into 3/4k gate. Very odd when every penny is supposed to count then turning away c10/15 grand and saving about 400 quid in paper, ink and staff. Very typical of the overall clown show though.

The metaverse is the future some are driving hidden behind netzero but in reality just a coup by the silicon valley billionaires. Meanwhile in an old industrial town in Northern England Jack and Jim who have 100 years Rovers support between them but never had the need for a smartphone can't get in a game like they normally do. So they'll not bother.

v Watford (h) 23/12/23

I'm putting Watfords win at Preston down to the craziness of this league and anyone can whoop anyone one if they catch them off guard. Hell we once won 5-0 at Sheff Weds even under Mowbray. PNE aren't as bad as that scoreline and Watford aren't as good as it, a bit of a fluke once off but no doubt a great confidence booster. If they come and have a go it suits us more although if they press high and we fanny around and give the usual gift away anything could happen. -
After the digital ticket experience i had recently with ticketmaster do not anyone tell me it's easier or less hassle, it's a load of bollocks with a load of potential drawbacks. Order online and pay - that's digital enough - tickets arrive through the letter box having paid for that service and helping keep people in jobs. They are printed on paper which is both recyclable and comes from renewable's - environment box ticked. Hand tickets to various people who want them, go to event, go in, enjoy show. But oh no.... Can't even be bothered going through all the download this, verify, sign up for that malarky then get there and there is a glitch meaning some walk in unchecked whilst others have to queue for an hour before Q code can be scanned. Peoples options should never be taken away but even more so where the supply outstrips demand 5 fold and you are going to decimate in even further. Plain stupid and no doubt hidden behind the netzero cult were as usual lemmings wanting everything easy but can't be arsed looking at the real driving factors. The amount of jobs the digitalization And AI of everything will cut in the very near future is horrific.

I'm NOT even going to bite i'll just shake my head and utter a few words.

In the Prem Ewood is an asset that's what it was built for but in the Championship year after year it's a white elephant and that'll never change. Getting it half full of home fans would help though.

45 mins of him from the start gives someone else a rest, should have been the case last Saturday. -
I get the impression a few in office there never really wanted Mowbray. Although his wailing like when he was here about not being able to compete for promotion unless you spend tens of millions won't have done him any favours. Think he was always a cheap short term fix in their eyes that unexpectedly over achieved at the end of that season with someone else's squad. Neil wanted to come back down here and was leaving anyway, TM was local available, guaranteed steady and only needed a phone call. If they'd have been searching a while in advance i doubt he'd have made anything but the reserve list.

Online sales will be same as Rovers and just offered on blocks i suppose so it doesn't always give a clear picture of totals. -

Watford will bring up to 1500 i'd assume which is a good turnout up here for them as it's still a near 450 mile round trek the day before Christmas eve. -

How the feck do you know when they are welded to the bench at the start whilst Smods runs himself silly and Brittain looks like hes never played before. Meanwhile 4 year contract Ennis who got 45 under his belt recently and at least carries a bit of presence collects splinters again. -

To be fair it isn't the defeat nor even the scoreline that prompt some deep debate it's the performance itself and the selection, tactics and in some cases attitude. All legit questions that can't be swept away just because it's Southampton away and we'd have been all over Mowbray after something like that. There has to be a plan B to get any kind of result against the better sides but there doesn't ever seem to be one. Sadly i'm pretty confident had we gone there almost full strength we'd still be seeing something similar and asking the same questions i just wish we were still in an era where managers parked the bus in games like that. -

If you can't see the flaws in the lack of direction and action in altering things at times when it's clearly needed that's on you. And him. We know the issues nly to well and nobody expects much but some of it is pretty basic stuff. Some fans need to accept that on matchday the gaffer on the sidelines owns responsibility for tactics and substitutions and playing a defender as a wide forward and leaving forwards on the bench. -

There's no excuse to miss it despite today's mess this is the craziest most competitive football league on earth. We let in 4 and scored non yet Watford stick 5 in away from home so and open game and goals guaranteed. No surprise if it's us sticking 3 or 4 in it's all to play for to go home happy before Christmas ! -

There is no getting away from how poor the in game management has been for a lot of his time here even considering we rarely have one game changer on the bench. There are always options to shuffle the pack and the constant persistence with Brittain there that has been highlighted before now finally came home to roost today. The lad is a decent RB/RWB but useless in a forward position barring one breakaway goal ages ago. -

This is why i thought big changes and resting players might be the way to go and take the risk like a cup game because chances of winning were slim anyway. Instead it went exactly as i feared it would and we end up with another suspended and more knackered legs low confidence and knocks. Sadly with a squad as small as ours in terms of available starting 11 you just have to rotate and alter tactics at times, it's called plan B and we never have a gaffer with one of those. At home in holiday fixtures isn't time to try that stuff but today was, nothing ventured nothing gained. Today was a bad day and far worse than it could or should have been. -
Knowledge, experience, drive, common sense and knowing your subject matter thoroughly trump being a decent bloke or nice guy when it comes to business. Or football !
