  1. He'll get a decent offer and good contract somewhere. We'll get JRC and whoever else Mowbray chooses according to opposition whilst we wait for this better replacement for a few hundred grand.
  2. That's what happens when you franchise things out.
  3. It's taken a few days this time as there was a lot of angst towards him post Saturday. A lot of those accounts are a bit iffy in true twitter style, i'd say there's an HSH bot farm somewhere near Yarm. Sadly for others the more TM detaches himself from any responsibility the more they back him but that's just social media la la land. Only ones that matter are in the ground where contrary to some beliefs on here i reckon most are on the fence. The anger was building around the ground in that bizarre first half. He knew it.
  4. There must be some massive disparity in wages if those figures are to believed considering what Dack. Gallagher, Brereton, Ayala will be on. No wonder quite a few are looking at firing off.
  5. If we are only paying those wages to players then where the feck is the rest of it going ? I'm not having those figures for a min although iv'e long thought a few million per season goes through the club to elsewhere. I'll never alter that opinion and i know the wages will have come down focusing on youth and ridding deadwood. However that doesn't add up at all with c20/30 million annual loses still.
  6. It's a real mixed bag as we've had relegation, promotion, consolidation, stagnation then one top 6 push, so far. Got to be around a 6.9 from me all things considered depending on this seasons finish but i can't see it rising if he stays any longer. His failure to address weaknesses in certain positions has cost us time and again and it ain't all down to not having backing.
  7. That's exactly the way it is in the ground the ones who chant his name are the first to boo.
  8. We didn't make the play off 2 years ago because Bradley Dack got injured madame. We didn't manage it last year Mr D because Bradley did his knee again. Sorry Barry we won't do it this time as Lenihen is injured but i'll guarantee a marginal gain on last year. Next season we'll storm it, now about those 3 year contracts for me, Mark, Swag and the boys....where do we sign !
  9. Good. His ship sailed years ago and sadly someone like him would ruin what we have now. If he was taking over after Coyle or someone it would have been fine then to try and mould his own squad.
  10. Waggot must be a Tory hes done his own version of leveling up plus a nice cherry on top. That bit probably covers his salary.
  11. Select the cheapest most local and biggest yes men from that list and you'll have your nailed on candidates. Then take the longest odds one off your shortened list and there we'll have our man.
  12. Not really because like you say he is who he is but when somebody puts up photo evidence. Alongside the assumed demeanor viewed from a distance it paints a rather more startling picture. Yes someone has delved deep there but its been done for a reason, presumably that being proof that bossing Blackburn Rovers is all about him.
  13. No, last season he just looked bored. He didn't have 11k home fans roaring (or telling him to sort it out) with his team fighting to stay in the top 6. If there is an example from memory where hes ever looked so dejected when his side is storming back to win i'd be interested to hear it.
  14. That's what he did though. You can find justification to defend him from the onslaught that's fair enough but don't go into denial about thing that happen in front of thousands of pairs of eyes. Ok i don't pay money to watch the managers but it was one of the oddest things seen down there on the touchline in the last...... well ever probably. I've seen things orchestrated, Kidd appearing mid game when he hadn't officially taken charge of the team being one. Various bust ups and even Stan Ternants tight black trackies and big white sneekers amusing the BBE no end. Never ever seen a Rovers manager seemingly down tools then looked positively pissed off when his team was scoring and winning.
  15. What needs to change ? Maybe tell the manager to stay at home until the end of May because his influence doesn't seem to make a jot of positive difference. In fact the one half of football he 'sat out' we scored 3 goals !
  16. Don't take offence if i screenshot this and plaster it on twitter and facebook as it isn't for nefarious reasons like we are used to. It needs showing to the many on there who only pull their heeds out their backsides long enough to tell us how great he is. Mind you they've been hard to spot since January.
  17. Been very suspicious in the past of certain things looking like we might be a plaything for a private betting syndicate. Now though it's just TM and his familiar patterns we've seen it for 5 years on the bounce even some of his staunchest supporters acknowledge it. He is only comfortable in his own mind when he is constantly tinkering and rotating according to the opposition. The best periods of success we've had under him have come when hes hit on a team and left it alone, 3 games, 5 games or whatever. This season before Christmas must be some kind of career record from him in terms of leaving things alone where possible. Even the subs were predictable but mostly sensible. Once that had to change we were always nailed on to go back to type trying silly things and bowing to the opposition. Alongside trying to justify some players and keep others happy. Then the blame inevitably gets pointed directly at the players and certain ones get chucked under the bus. All whilst looking fed up, tired, uninterested on the sidelines and in the pressers. I think we'd be seeing very similar even if the team had spent the season in midtable.
  18. Sorry but no it's just classic Mowbray and the way him and Swaggo run things. I don't believe he could have got substantial funds but a few million or a big wage contribution for a short term loan, yes. He wouldn't say what hes said otherwise with him being the bastion of integrity. For virtually all his time here hes been giving the impression he's told the owners to keep the chequebook away and run it sensibly. Far enough but when its needed a push it hasn't happened. This was the first time in a Jan window hes been able to do anything for a while. He directed those funds where he did. Seemingly looked at a couple of wide forwards types who he could juggle around on the front line. Then left them alone and spent on recruiting Hedges, Giles and the Spurs lad which won't have cost nothing. No ambition just playing it safe and we've seen nothing to suggest it was the right call.
  19. Lets not talk about Mowbray in the same breath as Kean or Coyle as one was a narsissistic conman the other a goon. He was a breath of fresh air for a few seasons but hit his glass ceiling at full pelt 2 years ago. Since then hes just been floundering around trying to hang on to his journey as long as possible. This season he had his hand forced after years of easy street and hit on a formula that worked well with what he had for once. Sadly once it went wrong he hadn't the first scooby what to do about it. Either on the pitch or in the window so his natural revert to type instincts kicked in. What he does now could be the most important thing hes done in the last 4 years as Rovers boss because after this season there'll likely be another downgrade. I think though having fans back this season and actually having to graft on matchday instead of slumbering the pressure of a good season has got to him. I bet he dreams of midtable obscurity in front of 9k silent fans and talk of ignoring the league, being happy at 1-0 reverses because he's a development coach who only cares about individuals progress. Remember all that ? Because it was only last season he was labeling himself as such.
  20. That's why he'll get a new contract and license for a complete cheap rebuild and that imo is why they got Park in. Upper midtable stability might seem like a pipe dream in another season or two.
  21. Worshipped by most of the 'yoof' who follow the team home and away, understandable i suppose. Ironically though it's usually that vocal element who pipe up the 'Mowbray sort it out'. So we can conclude it's ok for them to have a pop but nobody else.
  22. Did exactly the same last time there were a few sort it out chants previously. Followed by a few meltdowns in the press after his tame media pals dared to ask an incy wincy non brown tongued question. The guy is a giant slapped arse i just pray for once in a lifetime these lot get off their backsides and source out a new manager. I don't care if he's a tosser either as long as he gets the job done on the pitch.
  23. This time last season some were convinced we were already in the middle of the long goodbye with him. Even more so a few months into the beginning of this season yet the remarkable little turnaround wobbled a lot of heads. All we've actually seen is the inevitable return to type and all that's really happened is little spell of overachieving on the back of an all time embarrassing dubbing. In the words of The Who i won't be fooled again. Plenty will though.
  24. No excuse not to go for it after the international break, what have we got to lose now ? We were second but that's gone, we'll be out the top 6 probably before long so just bloody roll the sleeves up and go for it. If we finish 9th we finish 9th but at least they'll have tried. There's usually a good run at this time of year when the beach is in sight and players are trying to catch the eye of other clubs. Surely they won't deprive us of that as well.
  25. Sod Dunn he had a job here and fired off to do something else.
