Done well with the bounce back season and love the turnaround and faith in youth this season. Bang average at best for the other 3 years though no different than what numerous other average managers would deliver, give or take. To be here so long is an achievement and the turnaround from last season has been great. If we are being brutally honest though he's also a very lucky manager to have survived some of it. He must say his prayers to the gods of India every night. All being said he's been a good manager here given what we are these days thanks to various issues. He deserves some respect and to be left to just get on with it this season although some of the virtue signalling today on social media is embarrassing. As that ex Palace owner on the radio would say he's just a man actually doing the job he's paid a hell of a lot of money to do.

So when there is opportunity we don't sign another forward to help out the only regular goalscorer. Now he himself is out for weeks maybe more, not like any experienced fan couldn't see a situation like this arising. These are the things that a club like us just has to get right if we are to stay in the mix. Instead we sign a few multi positionals again who to date haven't contributed much at all to help stop the slide away.

Booed off ? Well i suppose he never got subbed here but imagine the uproar if he had got that treatment. Another example that this kind of thing can happen anywhere when fans are angry. No surprise though the guy has been stealing a living in domestic football for years with his accept no responsibility style. The only time he really shone here for more than the odd game was the back end of the league 1 season. Coincidentally that was the only other time in the last decade until this season a Rovers manager played to the strengths of the squad he had. Oh....and he needed a new contract.

They really are adverse to doing cheap one off deals now it looks like the Sheff U one was the last. This is another good deal on the face of it but it is still asking people to stump up £100 in one go. Yet again it'll shift a couple of hundred at best when instead cheap single match tickets boost a gate by an extra 3k, proven. -

Like a lot of this side Khadra is far better on the counter attack driving forwards and not having to think about it too much. When we have a lot of the ball pinning the opposition back he runs down blind alleys too often. He isn't alone either they need to get some interchanging passes off quicker too many want to do it all themselves. -

With the scrutiny he will have been under especially from the Millwall end i think he'll be covering his arse. Seeing as virtually everybody connected to either team who was there seems of the opinion it was playable by 3pm. He's bound to mention his opinion on the general preparations i'm sure. -

The thing is i doubt anybody at the club in the last ten years has mentioned about the pitch to them. Until now obviously when it's too late and all the money has been used getting through the pandemic etc. Past regimes have been too busy looking for ways to fill their own pockets and that is easier done via players and agents. Nowt in it for anyone when it comes to spending big on a pitch. Now if any ex SEM or Kentaro were involved in turfing it'd have been done now, probably twice over. Minus the usual % of course. -

It's been coming ever since the billionaire - multi million wasting with one hand but penny pinching with the other - mob turned up. I'm sure the pitch had to be completely re done with turf every few seasons as part of Prem rules at the time ? Might be wrong but i do recall it being done properly around Allardyce time i think. That was probably the last time it was and since then it just gets an annual reseeding instead. Of course there was Prem income paying for it then but with the money these lot have spaffed ! A few million extra for the most vital thing you need to play football on would hardly have broke the bank. So this has been coming for a decade and now it is increasingly becoming a problem. It won't go away it will just get worse they have been covering a growing wound with sticking plasters yet again. The stadium itself will be next to suffer. -

Exactly. Ultimately it's the match official whose head this is on but as i said in an earlier post maybe his report will say he didn't feel the club had taken the right steps and acted quickly enough. Still, very little excuse not to at least just delay kick off a while but was that even suggested i wonder ? Police will have had their say no doubt on that with the prospect of hundreds of Millwall loitering about. -

We really really could've done with playing yesterday and making home advantage count. Refs seem determined to do their level best to try and stop us having a tilt at promotion this season. No doubt this one will be a 'homer' as well taking the opposition numbers to 12 ! Another narrow defeat here i'm afraid. Blades 1 Rovers 0 -

200 million. Except most of it has paid for shortfall in wages. paying off crap, debt, interest on debt and probably a nice off shore fund contribution somewhere warm. The pitch and ground ? Loose change props that up. Some fans will still blame other fans though. -

Somehow i think the referees report won't tally with what is coming out from Rovers end. He probably wondered why the pitch wasn't actually cleared in decent time. As usual Rovers have no culpability in anything when it goes wrong that seems the mentality around the whole club. That pitch could and should have been cleared a lot quicker how many people were stood around with their hands in their pockets ? Possibly then the clown in the middle could have delayed kick off whilst the got the water hogs on for half an hour. I refuse to believe it was worse than prior to the PNE game, where it then continued to bucket down throughout. -

Really is something when it comes down to if the ref fancies it or not. If there were no doubts at 12.30 there shouldn't have been any at 1.4. Quite simply somebody should have shown a pair of balls one way or another by 1pm and stuck to it. -

Shambolic EFL officials and Blackburn Rovers hierarchy regularly get invited on brewery and distillery tours. Owners of these establishments safe in the knowledge there'll never be a chance of a piss up. Gutted as i really thought we'd get something today and fully expect all results to go against us. -

Iv'e gone to wok the next day with plenty football related injuries but i'm not on 10k pwk and treated like a thoroughbred racehorse. This is a potential 20 million pound full time footballer we are talking about here so whatever they are doing they are doing for the right reasons. You know what it's like these days a twisted ankle will get more treatment now than a broken toe did ten years ago. -

Keeping weight off it is standard practice i think and maybe those boots are compression. Keep the swelling down but yes either way he'll be missing a few games for sure. Not rocket science to think something like this would happen however it is rocket science trying to replace his goals without another regular scorer in the entire club. Seems we are only allowed one at a time at Ewood these days, got to keep a place available for big Sam ! -

They won't have wanted it to interfere with half ST sales i suppose. Just like now they don't want a one off ticket price cheaper than standard matchday. Understandable in a way but never ever going to be a big success in the middle of Feb.
