Yep thats the one cletus. They appear to dislike us too so I'm suprised Greggyk (or anybody else from BRFC supporters) should chose to buy it. -
Strange but I cannot figure the two pics of the cisse incident. It's a long time since I did Physics but the only way those angles would concur is if the latter was a mirror image. It's weird.

me too! Especially cos Fat Freddie might just be eyeing MH as replacement. OR whichever club FF pillages for his next manager will view MH as replacement. Just musing bit given the way sh1t is piling up for our club re: falling support and bad pr, who could blame MH and his team leaving if they were approached by clubs with greater potential such as Newcastle, Villa, City or Everton? Once the managerial merry go round starts who can predict where it stops?

Prhaps but it's not 50:50, the ratio is about 10:90 in Halseys favour.

Now I'm not particularly bothered one way or the other about dual roles on brisa and the FF, and all are supposed to be pulling in the same direction for the greater good of the club. But even if membership decided for one reason or another that individuals were only allowed to be on one or the other the Fans Forum details, through a web of personal relationships could never be kept totally secret any more.....imo. -
Agreed but the white packets I'd give em would be Vim.

Don't be daft Philip. You should know that football simply doesn't work like that. Cisse's free kick was not good enough for a goal really but coupled with being a man down and some poor defending he just got lucky yesterday. If chanting upsets individuals enough to ensure a goal then we should score 3 every week given the stick that Savage, Bellamy and Dickov get. -

That thought occured to me too. Alternatively maybe Bentley should have made way (with Dickov dropping deeper) as their appears little fight or determination in his game. The striking quality might not be great with Kuqi and Dickov but together they do the work of 3 men and are so often our best defenders. -
THINGS THAT THEY SHOULD BE SHOT FOR! Inspired by the pathetic Halsey I'd like to have personally pulled the trigger on 1. Durkin for being the only person on the pitch, the bench, as well as the 60,000 in the ground and the millions of Sky viewers to see anything wrong with Sherwoods goal at Old Trafford. 2. Whoever sent Wilcox off at Nottingham for dropping the ball onto the ground (presumably instead of wiping it, drying it and handing it gently to a Forest player). 3. The complete nobhead who issued Gazza with a caution for returning the yellow card that he had dropped and presumably applying a touch of humour to the Scottish game. (He should be bellyshot cos it causes intense pain and takes longer to die).

They were! Platini was fantastique and imo Cruyff was probably the best player that I have seen. The only became crappy when they changed from performing ON the pitch to performing off it. btw 'Spot on Bazza' from me too! The regular awayday rot set in for me personally at Nottm Forest when Wilcox got sent off for dropping the ball over the touchline. If I'd had a gun that day I'd have just about qualified for parole by now! -
Any new manager would still have plenty of quality to work with. And if I was a manager taking over my first aim would be to raise a bit of bunce and free up the wage bill by selling Dire........ and that isn't a spelling mistake either. btw I never did like the Mags so 'Long live Freddie' !

Glenn....... A good atmosphere can be created by chants admittedly, but you are old enough and have been to enough games to realise the limited mentality of a large %age of our 'singers'? Silk purses and pigs ears spring to mind. -

Brad may indeed have been positioned too far his left but have you forgotten that we were down to 10? With 11 men on the pitch the wall would prob have contained another body and Cisse's fairly ordinary shot would have been blocked, wouldn't it? ? Also I still cannot think of more than 3 or 4 keepers that I would replace him with. With crowds, viewers and interest in decline the authorities really need to accept the concept that sending off a player from one side ruins the game as a spectacle for all! According to Sky Zura got a touch to the ball first so it should not even have been a free kick! Halsey and his linesmen obviously do not have the benefit of replays and I accept that but I don't expect them to adopt the 'give a dog a bad name' concept of refereeing. However given that the ball was moving away from goal, the incident was outside the box and the fact that a blind man on a galloping horse could see that Zura was making a genuine attempt at a tackle to win the ball should have seen no card awarded. Maybe this example should be used as a reason to implement a 'green card'(?) scenario for a 'sin bin' or a blue card for a 'compulsory substitution' remedy? Hughes says the club will appeal against the sending offand I cannot blame him for that. The fact that we did not appeal against Todds sending off for the unusual offence of 'foreheadpushing' after being kicked off the ball should stand us in good stead hopefully. -
The Prem as we all know is simply a procession for the big clubs to grab a share of the ludicrously named Champions league kitty. Attendances are in decline, viewing figure are down and Blatter speaks the complete truth in his criticism of the structure of the Prem. (I only hope that he is including all the other euro leagues in his criticism). Most sports have found that a handicapping system helps retain spectator interest yet our press (the ones that I have read) seem happy to ridicule his suggestions. Why is this cos something needs top be done pdq? Surely the very fact that Arsene Whinger, the old RFW and the Poison dwarf at Chelsea are against it is verification of the worth of his suggestions? Well they would be wouldn't they? In typically biased fashion the stupid Daily Mail only canvassed the opinions of those 3 anyway!

It's ferk all to do with poor Peter Crouch and everything to do with "Swedehead" imo. I was'nt there so I'd like to think the booing was for the manager's actions. 1. Sven is nothing more than a yes man to the national press and media as verified by Heskeys demise and Crouch's meteoric rise to stardom since signing for Liverpool. It's a sick and shambolic way to manage a pub team never mind England. 2. His substitutions are both baffling and pointless. All Sven did v Poland was worsen the team in an important match by making substitutions simply imo for the sake of doing so! Nothing needed changing. 3. Crouch does represent tactical options to the team in times when tactical changes are necessary imo. OK he's not the greatest header of a ball despite his height but replacing Owen with Defoe doesn't offer much different does it? We could have won THAT game v Brazil (and possibly the World Cup) if we had had a Crouch (or similar) option once Brazil were down to 10 men and their centre halves's (who like all Brazilians were totally shytte in the air) apparently glued to the 18 yard line. The numpty still had his men trying to pass the ball down non-existant channels 'behind' the Brazilians ffs! 4. BUT.........Tactical options do NOT include putting on a 6'7" striker whilst taking off the only winger on the pitch do they? What a bloody charlatan Ericcson is eh? No forget that....he's just a twot! It's him that exposed Crouch to public ridicule by playing him with no natural supply lines.

Must admit my preferred action of boycotting the match is more a protest at the farce Abromovitch's wealth is making of English top-flight football rather than the actual cost of the match itself. -

Eh? Is Old John somebody really famous and important? Oh kinell! For years I've seen nothing to convince me otherwise that he is not just some ignorant, rude bad tempered old git carrying a huge chip on both shoulders, who nobody likes but is living way back in the past with a worse than average understanding of the beautiful game. Who is he really Lee Grooby's dad or something? -

For once I agree with this boards most unpopular contributor! ........... but with reservations. The cultured Newton was better defensiveley whilst imo Le Saux shaded it going forward. BUT astoundingly Keith Newton could play equally well (if not better) at right back! In fact if there were two Keith Newtons they would have been the best pair of full backs that England ever had! What Le Saux did represent in the cold and unemotional light of day was an absolutely supreme bit of business and football acumen by KMD. He bought a troublesome left midfielder from Chelsea (Ternant fell out with Porterfield too and few have a good word for the ex Chelsea manager) for 650,000 and turned him into Englands best left back before we sold him back to em for 5 million! Souness used the word 'Spikey' to describe Thommo but Le Saux was even spikier! A quality when kept under control that I personally like to see in players. Dickov has it, Sav has it, Fergie (Mike ), Batty and even Shearer to an extent had it...... whilst Speedie had it by the bucketful! Sure he left us but that is hardly a new concept to folk who have been going down to Ewwod as long as us is it Jim? -

Because people like you encourage and by definition reward those that make it so. A boycott of Stamford Bridge by the fans of all clubs would hardly encourage them to push prices up more next season would it? Whilst filling the away end every fortnight would absolutely guarantee a price hike next year. -

Understatement of the year Cowan. They were actually thinking of making a hotel / stand affair on the Riverside if my memory serves me right. It seemed a good idea at the time and if the demand for a hotel still stacks up now they could resurrect the concept and make 2!! -
I damn well hope they don't do that. Have you forgotten the Souness years when he treat every cup competition including Europe with disdain? It would just p1ss off the supporters even more to repeat that bolloxup. Besides this Leeds game is more of a banana skin than a gimme imo. Clubs should ALWAYS play their strongest team hoping to have the game 'safe' by the middle of the second half before blooding any kids.

That is not comparable to any academy in the country. It was just a complete but fortunate fluke that crop of star players all coming from one youth team......... borne out by the fact that MU have produced nothing like as good as even one of them since in the 12 years since they made their debuts.
