v Ipswich Town (h) - 20/9/25

I think it is a fair outcome, given that the Rovers where at fault for not fixing a known problem. What I can't understand is allowing people on the panel who abstain from voting. I take it that the three abstainers did so, so that, their vote cannot be used against their clubs, if some action is taken at the end of the season. -

Give us three points for the win, then dock us three points for not rectifying a previously known problem. -

Again, that is where the manager has to make the decision who, in his opinion, is the best player . Sentiment shouldn't enter the equation. -

The only people that have done anything wrong in this situation, are the Rovers management, who have done nothing about a known problem, hoping that it would never arise, well it has. -

What we need at the club is a head of drainage. -

For me form is history, a good manager will look to the future, and pick his best players. -

I have never got this harsh thing, the manager should pick his best team. Does he wait for someone to have a stinker and give away points before reverting to his best eleven ? -

What will happen about the yellows could be interesting, if the same player gets booked in the replay. They will have played one more game than anyone else with regards to the amnesty date -

They are very simple valves with little to no maintenance, and can be manufactured to fit any diameter of pipe. -

A non return valve allows flow in only one direction. It is at work all the time, It never shuts off flow from the ground to the river, but does not allow a flow from the river to the ground. The venturi effect of the positioning of the outlet allows for the flow into the river, when the river level is above the outlet. -

Expensive, and needs quite a bit of maintenance. The club is not very good at maintenance. -

If what I suggested was carried out it wouldn't matter if the outlet was underwater, in fact it would be more effective if it was underwater. -

If the drain outlet was angled downstream, rather than at 90 degrees to the river, and a non return valve fitted, the river flow itself would draw out the ground water (venturi effect ). -

I know this might be lateral thinking, but if there is a replay, why don't we just get on with it, and win it ? -

It probably doesn't matter if they do or don't cover the pitch, if the water cannot drain away. I believe in the past the postponements have been caused by the water backing up due to its inability to drain into the river. -
To be fair, if the Rovers don't win, I will take no solace how our on loan players do

Let's just hope they don't get going this week. -
And yet they still expect people to pay.
