I realise that the club have to be careful about pricing and not undercutting season ticket holders. But there are a lot of fans from outlying areas, with present situations such as rail strikes, could the club not put on transport to try to get people to go again. Even if it fails, it would be better than doing nothing and would show that at least the club is trying.
