Three at the back, two wing-backs, three in mid-field, two up front. I have seen this formation played many a time. It is a formation that is very hard to break down. It is a system in which 8 of the outfield players are always involved in the game. the way we have been playing recently, with this fluid four up front, just means that those four forwards usually get isolated, and do not impact the game as much, leaving only six to deal with the opposition. I don't understand why you laughed at the formation, please explain.

But in my opinion, Burns should be near the first team squad. His way of playing is perfect for a high press system. I can't see why he is so out of favour.

I have never said Cirino is ready for the first team. He is forth choice Left-back, but that option is available.

What I found strange, was at both second half free kicks, on the edge of the box, the ref only took eight steps to position the wall. I thought it was meant to be ten. I thought our first half performance was unacceptable, the second half was just about acceptable on an effort level, but still very little quality.
