Summer transfer window 2021.
rigger replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I can tell you, it isn't right-back. -
I haven't seen Hilton play, but if he is our best keeper prospect, he needs to be playing at some level, not sat on a bench.
-
As you say Eastham, is the best I have seen. His major problem, and one that is the hardest to get round, is his size. He does not command his box. A great majority of goals he has conceded this season have been due to this lack of height. I actually prefer to see him playing for the U23s than sat on the first team bench.

Two of them are not right-backs. -
Stick with the original bet
-
I think Pears is kept on our first team bench, because if he played for the U23s he would show how poor he really is.
-
It is another, tallest dwarf syndrome.
-
The problem is, from what I have seen all our younger keepers, they are poor. They all have major problems in their game. It seems to be more a case of trying to decide which problem is the easiest to live with.

The one against Accy completly lost control. The Accy number six swore directly at the ref. Everyone around the pitch could hear it. The ref did nothing. The Accy players from then on aimed all manner of foul language at all the officials, because they knew they would get away with it, (and they did ). It spoiled my enjoyment of the game, and set a poor example to the young lads watching.

The quarantine rules have changed.

I think the official Rovers site has dropped a bollock with their dates for Chiles third game. So he won't be available for Coventry.
-
The article on the Rovers site says that Chiles final game is on the 10th Oct, The Coventry game is on the 16th. Why could he not play ?
-
The only thing that gets on my nerves about the U23s, is that the refs are as bad as the championship ones.
-
Personally I don't think we will miss him that much.
-
You made a comment about my allegiances, that is what I want you to elaborate on. See you on Friday.
-
Please elaborate.
-
I wish I could see into the future.
-
Geedog never said he wouldn't travel to see the Rovers. What he said, and I agree with him, is that he couldn't say if he would or not. Until we are actually in that position I don't think anyone can
-
It is my opinion. I believe I am entitled to one. Burns a goalscoring forward, playing in a forwards position. Yes, that would be a total wildcard. Which are the, couple of games that he has played centrally where it didn't suit him ? With Diaz missing the Coventry game, I would play Gally and Burns up front.
-
I don't think we are lacking in forwards any more than most teams. I just think we are playing the wrong system. We now have reasonable wingers, but don't play a system with wingers. I would play 4-4-2, with Diaz and Burns up front, Khadra and Dolan as the wingers. Travis and Rothwell as the two central midfielders.
-
U23s winning 0-1 at Chelsea in the last minute of injury time. Sam Burns scores again. If Gally is injured, he surely should get a chance in the first team squad. He is quick, full of energy and forces defenders into mistakes.
-
Only if you are sensible as a manager.l
-
So he wouldn't be a good signing. He would be a good sale.

Because there is a god. -
I watched all the games. My impartial comment on Breretons performances was : He ran about alot.
