  1. Are the minutes out yet, and is there a link ?
  2. Perhaps it is just my way of looking at it. But he looks like another full-back that isn't very good at defending, but is fast as an attacking player. I must admit this is based on very limited viewing of the player.
  3. A better squad ? I don't think so.
  4. AFC Fylde are the nearest club to where I live. People said they weren't buying season tickets under Mowbray. That doesn't mean not going.
  5. I was not correcting you. I was stating what I believe.
  6. People only pass on what they want to hear.
  7. Jurgen Klopps cousin, Clipperty.
  8. No, he becomes a free agent next month. He will only leave if someone puts an offer to him that he is willing to accept. The Rovers are as likely to do that as anyone.
  9. I don't know if he has signed a new contract, or if he plans to. I would suggest that you don't either.
  10. Has he signed for someone else ?
  11. I think Annesley will be kept in the development squad until he leaves.
  12. Johngo never said that you didn't read everything. What he said was that you don't take-in, what you read.
  13. Actually I think our squad is suited to 4-4-2. The players just need playing in the correct positions. As for other teams I couldn't give a shit what systems they play, as it has no effect whatsoever on the Rovers results.
  14. The game is still the same. The difference is the standard of the players
  15. The point about systems I am trying to get over is that whilst players under Mowbray have played his systems, that is only for a couple of seasons. I would bet that most of them since they where at infant school have played 4-4-2.
  16. I have gone with players that are here now. If you want to surmise on players leaving, then so be it. The players may not have played 4-4-2 under Mowbray, but I would bet that most of them have played that system for their previous careers. 4-4-2 is far more simple because every player bar the keeper is in a two man partnership. That partnership knows exactly who should be doing what. If there is a mistake someone is accountable. This does not make the system infallible, but it usually cuts out silly mistakes. You state that you think we are going to need 6 signings. I don't think we will have the money to make that many good signings. We may have to make the best of what we already have.
  17. I am hoping that he actually turns into a reasonable player for the Rovers. I am not in the slightest bothered about recouping costs.
  18. I would play Travis and Rothwell as the two central midfielders ( Buckley and Johnson as back-ups ). JRC as right winger, ( Dolan as back-up ). Chapman as left winger (we need a back-up ). As for playing the more complicated system, Lets get a grip of the simple systems first. The more complicated the system, the more excuses players have for mistakes.
  19. The thing is, at the moment Dack is not in the starting 11. I would be more tempted to change to a 4-4-2 system until Dack returns
  20. Wouldn't it be weird if he scored less goals but we finished higher in the league next season. Or as laymen call it : Improve the defence.
  21. No, it's for every thread that has anything to do with the Rovers.
  22. Personally I think Pears is in the best position for the Rovers. Sitting on the bench, having nothing to do with the football. The only problem is the amount he is getting paid for doing it. If Kaminski gets injured, he comes on for the rest of that game. If the injury is long term, the Greek lad takes over in goal until Kaminski is fit again.
  23. But it might be important for avoiding relegation.
