  1. That has always been the case. What has changed is the way that defenders are asked to play.
  2. If that is what you need, that is what you do
  3. MGP should have scored, I am not completely surprised that Gueye missed.
  4. The more I see Gueye's header near the end, the more I realise, he is a shit striker.
  5. I have not seen enough of Litherland to form an opinion.
  6. So if we don't have a dramatic fall off in form in the next three months, we could be on for a good season.
  7. With Pratt I have always thought of a less able Colin Hendry, I hope he lives up to my expectations.
  8. I think the Rovers will hope Litherland will step up, if needed.
  9. What a week-end Rovers win, dingles drop into the relegation positions, Liverpool stuffed at home.
  10. The very same happened in the 70s, Mounted police charging into us
  11. Perhaps the decision was made by the same people who couldn't see that Adam Wharton was a decent player ?
  12. I doubt they actually practice heading goals at training, its a fading art.
  13. I remember Rovers fans singing to Cardiff fans, "Where were you at Aberfan"
  14. Pratt is a reasonable center-half, he can, head, tackle, and put his foot through the ball. If he is picked, and asked to play out from the back, it could be a disaster. If he is asked to do basic defending, he might be OK.
  15. But not always our most useful.
  16. No, VAR is hardware and mechanics showing the physical facts. The people using VAR are interpreting the results, using the laws of the game.
  17. I don't think the problem is with VAR, but with the people using it.
