  1. I have to be fair. When he signed I thought it was a good deal, so I will not put Mowbray down for that. Mowbray has plenty of other black marks to have a go at.
  2. I am not a great one for judging a footballer by data. I revert to my original question. Can Pickering defend? PS. A bargain can only be judged in hindsight.
  3. For me he could do a job as manager and player.
  4. But can he defend ? Amari Bell had a similar write-up when we bought him.
  5. I agree about the freeze frame, but I think his decisions whilst being fully awake, justify him needing to leave.
  6. In the 7o's/80's I felt, I was part of Blackburn Rovers. Now I feel taken for granted and I will not put up with that.
  7. Was signing Evans a parting gift?
  8. Let's just stop pointless in-house bickering.
  9. TOMO and Waggot cast their votes.
  10. I think him already being booked might have influenced him.
  11. Not when you are 4 players to 2, someone commits to a challenge, and either wins the ball or commits a clumsy foul. End of immediate danger. Travis probably didn't want to be that someone because he had already been booked. A well organised team would have already delegated who should make the challenge, if the occasion arose.
  12. The thing is we could quite easily win our next five games, It would still be time for Mowbray to leave.
  13. This has absolutely nothing to do with the context of my post. On a second point, I do think that it does matter whether a manager is stood or sat down. A large part of their jobs is to influence what is happening on the pitch as it is happening. I have never seen a manager who does this by sitting down. This is not a "Dig at Mowbray". It is a fully justified criticism.
  14. If you must comment please take into account the context of the conversation that the statement was given in, not just the statement its self
  15. He can't be arsed to stand-up, never mind walk.
  16. You obviously haven't grasped what I wrote. Mowbrays plan is working, for Mowbray. It is not working for the supporters, because we have a different target than the one Mowbray has. Our target is for success for the Rovers, Mowbrays would seem to be, mid table mediocrity.
  17. The problem is that what Mowbray is doing, is working. It's just that Mowbrays target is far below ours. We need someone with more ambition.
  18. why are we never going to win the FA cup ? It is probably easier to do than getting promotion. What are your priorities in the league. I cannot see us getting either promoted or relegated. As for Mowbrays job, at the moment I am not sure what that is.
  19. That is one of the reasons that Mowbray is so secure in his job. People thinking it doesn't matter to loose cup games. No games are pointless, in my limited experience you strive to win every competition. Why do you consider an FA cup game pointless ?
  20. Some people say Mowbray hasn't lost the dressing room. That may be so, but he has lost the rest of the ground.
  21. I will be desperate to go to the first game we are allowed back to Ewood. If Mowbray is still in charge I will give it a miss
