  1. I thought Graham and Dack should have been brought on as soon as they went down to 10. Instead TM dithered for ten minutes and let them organise themselves, whilst we sat back and let them. Then all bets where off with that stupid challenge by Smallwood. One positive from the game, Smallwood will be banned for three games.
  2. The only way to learn a lesson is if you know what the lesson is. The worrying thing is that the players and coaching staff can’t find what the problem is.
  3. Well with a bit of luck we have already given away this seasons share of late goals, so it is roll on Sheffield U. Onwards and upwards
  4. He had his best game but still gave the ball away for their goal
  5. What surprises me is that Ben spends half-time warming up, by lazily knocking high balls across the pitch . I would have thought it would be better to get him involved with the half time team talk, even if it is just listening to the rest of his team-mates getting a bollocking for a poor performance. At least it might make him feel part of the squad. Then maybe when he comes on he might have some sort of idea what is required of him, instead of coming on to the right wing then having to swap over so that Tony can tell him what to do.
  6. I would question the choice of second half replacements. Both Palmer and Brereton loose the ball too easily, and do not seem to put in much effort. At that time I thought that we needed to take a grip of the mid-field. Neither of those two are going to do that.
  7. It can't be proven, so let's agree to differ.
  8. Loads is not a quantifiable number, perhaps the loads you know are the same loads that the other posters know. In my travels this season I have met and talked to eight different people who go away, but haven't been to any home games . I am not saying they are the only ones, but in my view it is far from hundreds, never mind thousands.
  9. I agree with the above views, but the original discussion was that there where many people that go away regularly, who do not go to home games. I disagree with that statement.
  10. I agree with your comments here, but the original discussion was that a large number who go regularly away, do not go to home games. I do not agree with that statement
  11. So our average away following is about 2000. By your statement that would mean about 50% of the away following don't go to home games. I think you are wrong there.
  12. By a LOT are you talking, 10's, 100's or 1000's, In my experience my figure would be in the 10's.
  13. Personally I don't think there are that many people that fit into the criteria. Only a small minority who go away regularly don't go to home games in my experiance.
  14. This season I will be happy if we finish with a positive goal difference
  15. For me a worrying thing about TM's,we will win on Saturday statement, is that perhaps he thinks he can get a result by his strength of will on its own.
  16. The thing was, that freekick was his first touch of the ball and he had been on the pitch for a good five minutes by then.
  17. Just got back from the game, this is the first time this season that I have no emotion about the game. We got exactly what we deserved, Humiliated. Bring on Wednesday.
