I am not saying they are, as I don’t know. I am saying what I have seen .

In the fifty seasons I have been going to the Rovers. I have never seen as many elderly supporters as I do now. This applies to both home and away.

Because the Luton fans are on the crest of a wave having just dodged relegation. A great percentage of Rovers fans are elderly and might not want to risk a return next season.

He wasn’t the best keeper in the league when he was at the Rovers. This again might point to a problem with the coaching staff. Either they cannot see potential, or they cannot coach potential.

With a 12 point start, I would expect us to fInish above Sheffield Wednesday. I would like us to have a positive goal difference all season, and to concede less than 40 goals. What do you expect?

I still think the most important qualities for a keeper, are being able to organise the players in front of him and commanding the box. Shot stopping should be a given.
