Preston may have offered a larger figure. If he is out of our value for money range you pull out of the deal. I don't see any embarrassment in that.

because from what I've seen of both of them, which includes quite a bit of Nuttall, when I lived in Aberdeen. I rate Brereton as better of the two. My opinion only.
