Done.
-
No it doesn't.

You did notice in my original statement I said "At the moment". Just because a club wants to kick-on, it doesn't mean that it automatically will do. A good foundation for success is a close team that believes in itself, bringing in players who may or may not perform for the team will not instill that self belief.

People were complaining when the retained list was not published, now, it is not liked, so more complaints. I wish people would accept, at the moment we are a mid-table championship side, and we should set our targets accordingly.

Graham was great last season but it seemed at times that the Team played better football when there were more options than a long ball down the middle
-
By the same token we don’t know that they’re not good enough
-
Because I am a realist and looking to the future we have to hope that Brereton works. We are not in a position anymore where we can just write off big money signings
-
I agree with all bar the new forward. Personally I would be starting Brereton with Graham on the bench for if we need to change.

Woke up this morning. Tony Mowbray had a dream. Walking down the Bolton Road. We’ve a starman .

I would have thought the aim would be to make Ewood park the singing section. But you have to start somewhere.

Yes the kop never works
-
I would prefer it if we spent all our money on sorting out our defence.
-
Have we not got Chapman for that position?

We are going round in circles (similar to our defenders). My view is we should stick with Raya, and get a good center half and left full-back. Adios.
-
If we had signed Lev Yashin in his prime he would not have improved our defenders last season.

Part of a hair products franchise

But that was not the choice. It was between Raya and a different keeper, or an upgrade on center half. We have to be realistic on who we are going to be able to sign.

No

Having watched him when I lived in Aberdeen I agree he is not good enough
-
Where have I stated that I am unsure if the keeper is part of a defence. The discussion started over whether changing our keeper would solve our defensive problems. I do not believe it would. If I stated the obvious, why do you persist in arguing against it.

Improve I agree with. Drastically improve I don’t agree with.

You could have the most commanding keeper in the world he will only add too a defence. If the defenders in front of him are not good enough he will ultimately fail.
