  1. If it is John Eustace then his backroom staff will be interesting. Will be have to work with the current incumbents or can be bring his own team in. If he does presumably Lowe, Benson and Johnson will need paying up which the owners seemingly don't like doing. https://www.bcfc.com/news/all/backroom-staff
  2. The whole club is built on sand and for the foreseeable future we will only ever be days away from potential disaster. I include the senior players in this too after hiding behind some crowd dissatisfaction and using it as an excuse. The fans are the only constant here and everyone else should be aware of this.
  3. I think if they all went en bloc that would be a good thing and force the owners hand. Someting as radical as that would get all the media outlets interested. Everything needs to be brought to a head sooner rather than later otherwise we will go through these crises again and again. A new broom is needed from top to bottom.
  4. Secrecy is just that. Why would you tell a room of supporters something which, given it is secret something that is probably sensitive and confidential. In the real world it just wouldn't happen.
  5. I think some of your first sentence answers your question in the second sentence. Waggott is a snake.
  6. My understanding was that Adam was due some bonus but I wasn't told what it was for but I'd imagine a loyalty one which is normally paid over the length of a contract after an initial payment on signing. When Waggott was made aware of this by Adams agent he didn't want to pay it saying Rovers couldn't afford it. I understand there was a compromise.
  7. I was told about the validity of this story earlier this week and frankly appalled by what Waggott was trying to do. Imagine trying not to pay a bona fide bonus to a 19 year old kid who had just brought in a record fee.
  8. Whoever it is I hope he doesn't shout at them. They might even cry.
  9. Which is entirely your prerogative and if you got things off your chest and feel better for it well done. But deep down I think you know that Waggott wouldn't call such a meeting without an ulterior motive, which I believe is to take some heat off him and the faceless one. My personal feeling is that like so many other things that have gone on it won't matter a jot.
  10. Personally I wouldn't have gone then. You might disagree but I think they have used you, the other attendees and the players involved. Clearly Waggott is desperate and will probably feel some smug satisfaction from today. In my view it has driven the wedge even deeper between the club and fans. And hearing the players whinging has certainly pressed my buttons. He can call this meeting but won't have another Supporters Consultation or Shareholders meeting. You have to ask yourself why.
  11. I'm fucking raging about all this today but mostly at certain players feeling upset at getting booed? In two or three years time none of those fuckers will be here and will leave as wealthy young men. Us, we have had thirteen years of this shite and can't see an end in sight. If they can't stand the heat....... I really and truly wonder sometimes it all this fucking nonsense is worth the anguish
  12. I don't know under what circumstances attendees were invited. Was there anything in advance about questions and what could or couldn't be said? I have never gone into any meeting 'blind' and always had some idea of what it was about so I could prepare something. I'm not comfortable with the secrecy stuff, it really grates that there is something to hide when everything should be out in the open.
  13. What did anybody really think could be gained from such a meeting. Were the fans going to have a go at the likes of Hyam for getting rag-dolled by a centre forward every week or players lacking bottle as soon as we go behind. Or were the players giving some insight as to why we are losing so often, conceding so many goals from set pieces?I Totally pointless and futile.
  14. On Saturday we fielded the most experienced team we have had for ages. Only Moran and Chrisene could be classed as youngsters. What a fucking feeble excuse for professional footballers to use for playing poorly. Give me fucking strength. I really hope they read the messages on here tonight.
  15. That really makes me uneasy. If the attendees are representative of fans of fans groups then why can we not be told everything that was said or is there something to hide. It really is a sad day for Rovers.
  16. Waggott was uncomfortable with chants aimed at him on Saturday and I think he has used this stunt as a way to try and prevent anything negative aimed at him or the owners. The cowardly snake.
  17. There were a few boos but nothing like you are implying. It was 0-0 at half time so there wasn't too much to get angry about. I have lost respect for some of those players moaning about something so trivial in the scheme of things.
  18. We have plumbed new depths today. A meeting between supporters and players facilitated by a man who is really scraping the barrel. Players moaning because they heard some booing? I really am struggling to come to terms with the happenings and events of the last few days. I remember when several of the Fans Forum went to India. Over the months and years after some of them said they had been used as a publicity stunt. I can't help feeling the same right now as Waggott has run out of ideas and is using fans in a way that makes me uncomfortable.
  19. It worked until early December when we were on the cusp of a playoff place. I don't think your 'victim mentality' notion is fair at all. I am a realist and know we are in the results business and ours have merited the managers position to at least be under review but I can't think of any manager who, with the players at his disposal could have got results.
  20. More than likely Ian but given his offer to walk for nothing in the Summer I was being hopeful.
  21. But there is some context to this isn't there? Pears, Hyam, Carter, Pickering, Hedges, Dolan, Gallagher, Brittain, Rankin-Costello and Sam Barnes all injured mid to long term. We signed the likes of Walstedt, Ennis and Telalovic to replace solid, experienced Championship players. Results have been shocking and under normal circumstances at a normal club I agree the manager should go but we are anything but normal. God only knows what other crap he has had to put up with.
  22. I don't think it has anything to do with results. The writing was on the wall in Friday after the transfer window debacle and cancelling his press conference. I really hope he blows the lid on the whole sorry mess.
  23. Sadly Ian, as has been demonstrated in the past we have an element of gullible supporters who will be satisfied somebody has gone irrespective of their role.
  24. I saw Mike Cheston's name mentioned earlier as a person who has left/will be leaving and being made the potential fall guy BUT I have been told he is retiring at the end of February and told the club of his intention in December. It doesn't take much to work out the lack of correlation with the transfer window given the dates. They have their scapegoat nicely wrapped up with bows on.
  25. We'd be better off getting Norman Bates. Perhaps he could make more sense of what the hell is happening down there.😂
