Moaning about people moaning - oh the irony. In an earlier post you doubted Tomlinson, are you a moaner now.
-
It is a clear red for me and ticks the boxes for violent conduct.
-
It's a football statistics website and I passed comment. So enlighten us then with your knowledge of him.
-
A defensive midfielder and one of his weaknesses is tackling. And we have Mulgrew for two of his strengths. Sounds like another player from the non contact Academies. I wonder how the likes of Tomlinson and Travis feel about this (if it's true).
-
I had a sneaky feeling for them after their first match when they were excellent but it now seems they peaked too early. If they had played until tomorrow they wouldn't have scored. Brazil on the other hand are looking stronger as the competition goes on.
-
That was a clear sending off when Neymar was stood on. It is immaterial how Neymar reacted, it's violent conduct.
-
But he might just say no ??.

I do think though Paul that the club haven't considered all the facts which JHRover has listed. I believe they have hiked up the price based on the success of 1875 last season without factoring in that the majority only joined to ensure tickets for the local and small allocation derbies.
-
That makes more sense - thanks Jack. I assumed the game was at Tynecastle with Hearts being first named on the pre season fixture list.
-
Cheers Andy. Are you going? I got our tickets on Friday and was told we had sold 'around 200'.
-
I just noticed that Hearts are playing a home friendly against Partick with a 2 pm kick-off. It could well be an interesting afternoon in Edinburgh.

The law changed recently and now if the referee deems the challenge to be genuinely for the ball it is a yellow card. A cynical challenge would be red.

Spain didn't appear to get over the pre tournament turmoil and now they have paid the ultimate price. In the Spanish inquest that is sure to be high on the agenda. I saw Roberto Martinez linked with the Spanish managers job this morning. He will improve their possession stats at least.
-
Do they not count because they were the first two games? Mowbray ditched it because we lost the first two games and the players clearly weren't comfortable playing it. We were shockingly bad in those two and not much better in a dead rubber at Charlton. Had he persisted with it I don't think we would have been promoted.
-
Started with three at the back at Southend, home to Doncaster and at Charlton and lost all three. That's 60% of the games we lost. The vast majority of games we won last season were with a back four - fact.
-
We played that formation for less than half of the Portsmouth game and it was 1-1 at the time we changed. Every time we started three at the back last season we lost. I do however think Mowbray wants to play that system as his first preference.
-
You are probably correct. I just find it odd.
-
I just can't get my head around somebody paying for a season ticket and watching the second half in a bar (unless I've misunderstood). It takes all sorts I suppose.
-
We haven't joined the 1875 club yet and probably wont. Pretty much out of principle really as the only benefit to me would be priority on tickets. For the league games I really can't see a situation whereby we will sell out before the allocation goes to phase two for season ticket holders. I fear Rovers seem to be following the PL trend of treating fans as cash cows.

Only if it leads to a goal or penalty.
-
The outstanding feature of the WC so far has been the quality of the goals. It's probably the most open WC I can remember and the real quality players have been allowed to express themselves. It must be a record to have so few red cards at this stage.
-
There was a clear shirt pull on Griezman that should have resulted in a penalty. Amazingly VAR didn't see it as a clear and obvious error so it wasn't referred.
-
It was humour not a sly comment. I wish we would sign some players and you could then stop being so tetchy.
-
He has metallised - he runs like the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz.??

Quite recently we had Liverpool at Ewood for a 7.45 kick off with no trouble. We also had the Rags on a Sunday afternoon and Dingles for 7.45 midweek kick off. If we had an FA Cup replay against Leeds or Preston they would be midweek evening kick offs too. I would love Rovers to give us the truth as to why these games are allowed to be moved with scant regard to fans, both home and away.
