The manager should be the first one called into the manager's office! -

Cardiff just scored. Season definitely over now. Mowbray out, youngsters in. -

How's Walton got away with a yellow there? That would actually have done us a massive favour if he'd copped a ban. -

Walton strikes (yet) again. The second substitution should have been my "face in the crowd" for Walton. It'd stop more and Rovers have my permission. -

There was nothing v Barnsley and nothing on my mate's feed during the first two games. -

Fantastic free kick from Armstrong, very soft free kick but we'll take it. Can we show some character and kick on? -

I've never been a particular fan of Mick McCarthy's style of football but he was commentating today on Derby v Forest and I thought he was spot on with his analysis. Get him in now. At least I think he will be honest and call a spade a spade if we're playing badly unlike the delusional arse covering bollux we're subjected to from Mowbray. -

The section of the stand next to it nearer the dug out appears to be half empty. Edit: Game over. If it's one bad result nearer Mowbray leaving I'll take it. -

I'm getting bits of what I assume is code flashing up all over the place on my laptop. Anyone else getting the same? -

As a side issue I've been shafted on the "face in the crowd" front, paid £45 for one of the ones near the dug out and I'm in the middle of the crowd underneath the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust sign which isn't the nearest section of seating to the dug out. I don't mind particularly as I'm treating it as a donation to the Club but it just seems indicative of how the Club are treating the fans. -

Well, was a bit late in after walking the dogs, came in at 15.07 and one down. Well done lads! Edit: Gallagher, what a waste of space. Lead Commentator doing my head in already, cracking on Gallagher narrowly missed and was unlucky. Holtby unlucky. -

imo Graham's completely finished. The problem is Brereton and Gallagher haven't stepped up -

Class. And never more apt in Gallagher's case. Lose the Alice band, stop fiddling with your bloody hair all the time and concentrate on making yourself a nuisance to the opposition. -
Maybe that's the reason for the new beard. ?

Is there any concrete evidence to back this up or is it merely an urban myth concocted to beat Venky's up with at the time? Imo he lost the players after the first 5 games and if he was lied to, you wouldn't have known it, he couldn't have been more fulsome in his praise for everyone at the Club when he left.
-
Nothing but the best eh?.......... I'd have stuck him in the Hungry Horse (Fernhurst) next to the ground!
-
I'm more inclined to think that it was him that came here under false pretences, inserting the get out clause in his contract knowing full well he wouldn't be here beyond that unless things clicked instantly into place. He's done nothing whatsoever since to suggest we missed out either.
-
Nail, hammer, head. We're on the road to nowhere and if he was still here in ten years time we'd still be on the same road or have fallen off the road into the ditch at the side some years previously. It's the futility and pointlessness of plodding on with Mowbray that depresses me.
-
I can't agree we aren't a million miles away. We've no keeper and probably five players of the sort of standard required if we were serious about challenging for promotion. And two of those are entering the last twelve months of their contracts.
-
And if he is missing seeing what the fans think about our performances in the flesh, I'd cordially invite him to read the post match reaction on here after the last two games!
-
Disagree completely.Im completely invested in the game when I'm watching Rovers. I still feel like throwing the remote at the TV or laptop when I'm watching Gallagher or Bennett and something larger when I'm watching Walton throw one in the back of the net. The players should be completely invested or committed to the game as well, regardless of the crowd. I find the lack of a crowd a bit more noticeable when I'm watching neutral sides but Ieven so I still think this is buck passing arse covering excuse making from Mowbray. We managed perfectly well without a crowd against Bristol City.

Great post. If you get the right manager in with a workable budget it's amazing what you can do and how quickly you can do it. No need for long term plans, slow builds, directors of football, the right structure in the Boardroom etc etc As for Chaddy's view on Leeds, not much point turning up on Saturday then he? I bet Mowbray will also get his excuses in early and spend plenty of time before the game eulogising about Leeds as well
