  1. Pressure on. We all know what happens from here.
  2. I think you’re right. Don’t think there will be that many on sadly. For that reason I hope the club publicise the crap out of this fixture. For the overwhelming majority of these players playing in front of a 5 figure crowd will most likely be the pinnacle of their careers. Hope they get to. I’ll definitely be treating it with the same attending commitment as if it were the first team.
  3. Is the semi home or away?
  4. Looking like citeh in the semis
  5. Any one go last night? If so how was it and who were the latest inductees? The
  6. There always something more satisfying when you get a last minute goal vs a side that’s been playing silly beggars and time wasting.
  7. The 90s were a good vintage for English strikers. Shearer, Sherringham, Wright, Fowler, collymore, Cole, Ferdinand, Sutton of the same era. If any of those had their time during the heskey years they’d have had dozens more caps.
  8. He was practically at the post when the ball was struck yesterday. In fact had the Swansea lad blazed it over the bar could have argued for it to be retaken he went that early.
  9. I think Gallagher's goal totally vindicates the article. Wide striker, inside forward, or as it has legitimately been out and out winger, whatever “wider” position he’s held it’s been totally ineffective. Through the middle he scored. Sharpe was merely pointing out the bloody obvious before Graham got his knickers in a twist. If anything I read it as a minor criticism of Mowbray rather than Gallagher. For all I’m pleased for Gallagher tonight I still remain of the opinion it’s £5 million wasted.
  10. Yeah Wembley would be nice. Not sure how out of date this is but the 9 teams not to play at the new Wembley. Stanley, rovers, bury, Colchester, Crawley, Ipswich, Forest, Oldham and port vale. Another mini race to the bottom under the Venkys tenure.
  11. With a nice buffer. But the play off reality is
  12. The year is 2050 our 66th transfer window where an elderly Tone will be wheeled around by waggott choccy biccies now in puree form. Failed to address defensive issues over the last 3 decades. More time needed the European scouting network imminently about to unearth gems. That will be the play off year
  13. 25 points lost from winning positions. 5 points gained from losing positions.
  14. Gallagher just missed a sitter. That is that I think
  15. Think they know how it ends.
  16. Swansea are crap but so are we unfortunately
  17. More time on the training ground practicing pens and less time on instagram for DG.
  18. Bugger. That defence wasn’t keeping a clean sheet. Just need to score a couple more probably.
  19. Keith newton. 10? edit: just seen in earlier post
  20. Cunningham, Tosin, lenihan, nyambe would have been a decent back 4 this season. Ifs and buts. The but there is bugger all to come in after it. Bell, Williams, mulgrew, Bennett, plus a few academy teenagers. ?.
  21. When you have bell and bennett in a back 4 with a loanee centre half and no defenders on the bench that’s a shocking. Almost an unacceptable lack of defenders in the squad. Can’t be in a situation where losing one centre half makes 2 problems by moving the rb to cb forcing Bennett into the defence.
  22. Last 6 windows.
  23. Not one defensive player on the bench. Where’s that carter that’s been on the bench a few times or magliore
  24. With lenihan I think that’s one too many absentees on top of everyone else that’s out. Looks a weak team.
  25. They were good those history timeline things. They’ve been replaced with adverts for away tickets!?!?!? Really are clueless at rovers. I hardly think legions of ticketless Swansea or any away fans will rock up to Ewood and think there’s no 20 foot adverts for away tickets better set off home.
