  1. I’m getting to the realms of thinking relegation no longer a threat. Even if the wheels come off should get 18 more points from 24 games.
  2. I seem to recall last season we scored early vs Bristol then around this time it started to go really badly and lost 4-1.
  3. Think it was inevitable. Looked a bit fatigued vs Swansea. That said Gallagher and Brereton in the same team. Feels like a bit of a write off game today. Then the 3 games in 6 days. Fuck you sky.
  4. Great stuff. Nice to think he still does little things like that for the fans. This is my own bit of rovers shearer memorabilia:
  5. What’s this Daniel Dubois like? He was being built up the other day. Not seen him fight but heard him speak. He can barely string a sentence together.
  6. I can’t recall ever seeing any player bully Drogba on a football pitch. Let alone a teenager. It was a phenomenal performance I thought he’d be an England regular and future England captain for sure. In a way it’s sad how he seems to have gone backwards as a player since going to manure.
  7. Tbf that’s how Klitschko reigned for 10 years. As a side note not sure why Joshua needs such a big entourage.
  8. The fat Mexican outclassed by the jab. A boxer vs a tough durable fat lad. Ironically the only time Joshua looked in any danger was when he tried to ko the fat lad. When he wanted to start fighting the fat knacker looked interested.
  9. Of course he doesn’t. I’d be shocked if he knows it exists and even more shocked if he can be bothered reading it. But the fact remains this change of fortune has come about through him deciding to do pretty much what people have been saying here, at work, in the pub since September. He's presumably come to these decisions on his own or by way of pandering to his paying public. Armstrong scored today but isn’t good enough. Walton kept a clean sheet but isn’t good enough. Football isn’t rocket science you don’t need to be an ex professional to know what’s bloody obvious. Tony seems to be on the same page now and long may it continue.
  10. Never felt more like singing the blues, the Rovers win Burnley lose, oh Rovers, you’ve got me singing the blues.
  11. I am giving him credit. For fulfilling the most basic duties of a manager. Picking the best players in their favoured positions, a settled line up and formation. The fact it took him so long is another thing but he deserves credit for doing what the average bozo has said all along. We all learn at different speeds.
  12. Not only do teams do better when they have a settled line up and ergo an increased chance of winning but I find it easier to accept defeats when there’s logic to things rather than losing with inferior players out of position. Find a couple of defenders, a long term replacement for graham and a keeper in January and might just have a side.
  13. We’ve been saying this for a while. Let Mowbray do whatever it is that happens midweek but isn’t then allowed to pick the team, give the HT team talk or make substitutions. That way I really think we’d be in the play off places.
  14. I wouldn’t be surprised if we make it 4 wins on the bounce nor would I be surprised if this was the first defeat of 7 consecutive defeats. Tis the Mowbray Rovers way.
  15. So 1 minute for folk to contemplate why the hell they’ve bothered turning up to the most uninspiring draw going
  16. Watched till lunch. It was an absolute road of a pitch - very glad he got the runs but if hadn’t have he’d need shooting. Particularly for someone in the “big 4”
