  1. http://www.trywarcraft.com Free 10-day trial. The first hit is free etc. 7.5 million players can't be wrong (or are simply too addicted to care about right and wrong ).
  2. --> QUOTE(Ste B @ Dec 13 2006, 23:38 ) 467673[/snapback] The way its panning out, it could be a 4 out of 7 chance as theres likely to be 2 from each country left. Ooops. I didn't check the already completed groups, I just believed the normally accurate - http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/seeduc2006.html You're right about us not getting Feyernord. I missed rule 2. 1. Clubs from the same association shall not be drawn against each other. 2. The group-winners of a given group shall be drawn against one of the third-placed teams from another group. 3. The runners-up of a given group shall be drawn against one of the eight clubs joining the competition from the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. 4. Group-winners and runners-up shall play the return leg at home.
  3. If I understand it right, then we can play Feyenoord Ned Zulte Waregem Bel Paris Saint-Germain Fra Fenerbahçe Tur Then one of each of the following Rangers M. Haifa Auxerre Livorno Partizan Tottenham Dinamo Bucuresti Beşiktaş Leverkusen AZ Sevilla Liberec Braga Parma Lens Osasuna Heerenveen
  4. I think ours was the last train that had the fans held under armed guard (albeit in a freindly manner) at Rotterdam Central, only to be sent by train to Rotterdam Blaak, where we were frog-marched across town into a dead end and held for another 45 mins before being bussed another 20 mins to the ground. To make matters worse, I was 4 people from the turnstiles when the gates "failed" (although I suspect what had actually happened was they'd got word from inside about the overcrowding problems and had decided to leave 100 or so fans outside to avoid further problem). Adding another 10 or 15 mins until they let us in. It seems that all later trains were sent straight to the ground without the trip to Blaak. (To make matters worse, I'd got on a train with BigFillBar8, only for the smurf to decide her bladder wouldn't last an hour, so we caught another one a few minutes later).
  5. I've been back about 3hrs now and I'm still furious about leaving Amsterdam at 6:15pm and still missing the first 17 minutes of the game.
  6. 5hrs more work, then staright off to LBA. See you all in the 'dam this evening
  7. Both brfcs.com flags will be in attendance as always. Nope. Well, I've not help organised one this time. As much enjoyed the games in Turkey and Salzburg, this time I want to sit be and relax instead (and where better to relax ). 24hrs to go and I'll be leaving work and heading for Leeds Bradford Airport.
  8. I think that's the flight me and the smurf are on.
  9. For those that don't know. "Vinjay" was banned from posting on the message board some time ago, not for sharing his opinions, but for repeatedly breaking the posting guidlines to do so. From time to time he still email us stuff and whilst I'm far from agreeing with what he's saying, I figure it's only fair to share. I'm sure he'll still be reading the board and will welcom your opinions.
  10. There are quite a few that do know him and several including myself have defended him as a person. I still dislike his drumming though.
  11. As much as I enjoyed the Genclerbirigi and Salzburg fans games, I've not intention of doing it again for either Feyenoord or Krakow. This time I want to sit back and enjoy the beer rather than rushing round trying to organise stuff and staying relatively sober. However if somebody else fancies giving it a go, that'd be fantastic !
  12. Mr B, who was out there for the pre-seasons strongly recommends staying in Amsterdam rather than Rotterdam. I don't know if I have any accomodation booked, my PA Jill has been sorting such things.
  13. And official site ... The dates are as follows... Thursday 19th October: Wisla Krakow v Blackburn Rovers Thursday 2nd November: Blackburn Rovers v Basel Thursday 23rd November: Feyenoord v Blackburn Rovers Wednesday 13th December: Blackburn Rovers v Nancy.
  14. Anyone know where will be annoucing the fixtures first ? UEFA.com normally takes a while for new news to hit.
  15. Haven't worked that out yet, but it does seem to be the nearest international airport. Does anyone know how long the computer-fixture-reshuffle takes ?
  16. On this pic - http://www.redbullsalzburg-board.com/board...cmd=si&img=1792 Those I know are :- Back Row (L->R) : Wiz (I think), Ewood Spark, JPW, Mushy, The Blunderer, DP Font Row: Manchester Blue, Percy, Ricky and SAS last on the right.
  17. No worries about making a prat of yourself. I think a fair few will be doing that. Not sure how close JPW has got, but I'm sure he'd welcome more. Pack your boots and let him know
  18. About 50 left I believe. I think we would have had Neils trip not been cancelled and a number of tickets returned.
  19. Glad ? Delighted more like ! I haven't laughed so much in years !
  20. I remember the taxi you sorted in Ankara. Ste B was reading his last will and testament over the phone becuase he thought he was about to be violated and then murdered We did try very very had to get the match earlier (thats the main reason for the delay). The problem is (as we had for the game versus Genclerbirligi at Brockhall) is most of their player will be working earlier in the day.
  21. HOW TO FIND THE LOCATION OF THE FANS GAME Map (and game) C/O FunMax. Don't forget to let JPW know straight away if you want to play. Last I heard he'd got a full team, but no subs. 4pm on match day. Spectators welcome
  22. It looks like the fans game is ON ! JPW has most of a team, but as we're looking at 11 a side then anyone that fancies a game (or a least being a sub) should contact him asap. Those wanting to watch (it's 4pm on the day of the game, so I expect most of you'll be in the pub) I'll post a map later. As for where were drinking, most people seem to have my mobile, drop me a text and let me know where you are. I imagine I'll NOT be in The Shamrock/O'Malleys, but I won't be far away.
