  1. He is a reliable source. I do wonder if Swansea have the upper hand, with him having worked with their gaffer before, even though we clearly have the league position to boast about?
  2. JRC fit enough for RB? Be a shame to move Buckley there.
  3. If clubs are being quoted £5m for Healey, I can't see us going for him. Even if it's a loan to buy. Only thing I could find on his contract length was on transfermarket which had it expiring in 2023 (probably wrong) £5m would seem a lot if he's in the last year of his contract come this summer.
  4. Actually a pretty exciting signing is this. Looks like he has the potential to be some player for us.
  5. He's also 32, not a long term solution and potentially on the decline.
  6. Assuming Markanday signs, where does he play and how does he fit into our current system?
  7. Yer sorry, probably from the way I worded it, I meant ditch the possession stuff. Then start to build from the back. Not ditch both the possession and the build from the back.
  8. Yeah, it's some hit. Was rumoured to leave Southampton a few times but its never seemed to happen.
  9. Quite remarkable for Rooney really. 8 wins and 11 draws would have them on 35 points in 11th place right now.
  10. "Forget the possession based stuff and build from the back. Get a solid defensive base and the rest will follow", that was the cry from most of us. And look, a settled side, players in correct positions, solid defensive base, less emphasis on possession and we are sat 3rd in the league. It's easy this football management lark 😂
  11. The lack of RoversTV frustrated me and the kids wanted to go out, so didn't keep up with the last 30mins or so. Great to see an away win, I'll take a 0-1 battling performance anyday. Shame Nyambe was sent off. I guess we'll see how good Zeefuick is sooner rather than later!
  12. Big game today. Obviously the defeat to Wigan was in the cup but we need to put that behind us and get back to winning ways now. A classic Mowbray death spiral would be an unbelievable kick in the bollox to Rovers fans after such a promising first half of the season.
  13. I find it a little bit frustrating that clubs had no income for such a long time due to COVID and it seems the rules haven't been relaxed to take this into consideration. Not sure how that works or if it's fair to be honest. Also, I thought it was just a transfer ban not points deduction for breaking these rules?
  14. Option to buy according to Hertha. Crooke believes his name it's pronounced Zay-Fike, which is disappointing.
  15. Dolan has done well and I think he will develop further but I don't think he'll be a player for a Championship team at the top end of the table.
  16. Maja on loan with a view would be sensible if we are looking at replacing potential future outgoings, BBD in this case.
  17. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19849600.blackburn-rovers-make-move-tottenhams-dilan-markanday/?s=09 "Rovers are wanting to add more depth to their forward options this month and are looking at a move for a central striker." Assuming this is in addition to the Spurs lad? Or is he a central striker? Seems a bit odd that we would bring in a central striker when Gallagher continues to get shunted wide. I figured the Spurs lad would play more in a "wide forward" role, freeing up Gallagher to play centrally. If we are continuing with 3-5-2, and surely there is no reason to change it, there are now only 2 spots for BBD, Khadra, Gallagher, Dolan and this new lad.
