  1. This. Plus he'd be expecting to be paid very handsomely too.
  2. Mowbray previously spoke about having to Temper Venkys enthusiasm for spending a lot of money. They are unlikely to have a better chance of getting to the prem, so opening the purse strings in January should be on the table (ffp permitting)
  3. Not a vintage performance in the second half but we got the job done and that's all that matters really. Another huge test against Hudds on the horizon.
  4. Lost our way a bit in this second half. Need something to change it up
  5. Horrible time to concede, such a scrappy goal as well. Big test for the boys now. Need to get back out in this second half and not let our heads drop.
  6. Misinformation is the absolute killer of social media. Flat earthers, 5G and the main one at the moment, "The clot shot" (as how it was put to me the other week). I get lost down twitter rabbit holes on all those subjects. I wrote a tweet about Sergio Aguero retiring and how it was a shame he retired due to injury and someone commented on it saying "is that what they are calling the clot shot these days?" Absolutely nothing to do with SA or football but these anti vaxxers can't help themselves. Follow @badvaccinetakes for some absolute pearlers. Someone genuinely tweeted that their friend turned gay after having the vaccine.
  7. Good to see we are unchanged. Really hoping we can bag the 3 points tonight but not expecting a walkover.
  8. I have no issue with signing Souttar based on his ability/potential but his injury record is a huge concern for me and if it becomes a case of Lenihan walking and this guy replacing him, that is a massive risk as we could very will lose both him and Ayala (would be 2 of our main Cb's) for months at a time.
  9. But he's suffered 5 major injuries in the last 4-5 years. No way you could rely on him being first choice centre back. Might have managed to miss only 2 games so far this season but he only managed 13 apps in total across the 2 previous seasons. He's a big risk signing, surely.
  10. He seems incredibly injury prone. And his injuries keep him out for months at a time. January 2017 - Ruptured Achilles tendon - out for the rest of the season 2018 - Hip injury - 5 months out 2019/2020 season - Ankle injury - missed most of the season Feb 2020 - torn Achilles (other leg) - 6 months out August 2020 - snaps same Achilles - unknown length of time - assuming most of the season as he only made 5 apps.
  11. Absolutely unacceptable that Hull put a process in place where they can jepordise the game so close to kick off. As others have said, testing should have been done yesterday. Hull fans on Twitter saying they've already tried to have the game called off previously. The cynic in me is thinking Hull have done this deliberately.
  12. Rovers slippers, great shout. A new years present from me to me I think!
  13. Merry Christmas and Happy new year to all Rovers fans!
  14. A foot in each at the moment. Can't deny the season has is going superbly and to be in with a shot of going joint top (even temporarily) is incredible. But a winless streak being around the corner is always in the back of my mind. Perhaps harsh but I can only judge him based on the end of season position.
  15. Currently at 19th December. I can only assume the alleged option on the BBD and Kaminski contracts would have a deadline, otherwise this would surely stop them signing pre contracts with overseas clubs? There has been no breakthrough, so we need to get these activitied, in the next week, surely?
  16. *Watches highlights* *Closes Skysports app* *Opens YouTube app* First video in feed, Blackburn v Birmingham highlights.
  17. Can't remember the last time team's expected defeat against Rovers but reading the Birmingham twitter comments, that's definitely a common theme.
  18. Seriously good chance for us to close the gap on 2nd place with Bournemouth losing. It's going to be a nerve wrecking afternoon!
  19. I've seen that both QPR and Crystal Palace have now partnered with a Cryptocurrency business and are now selling these digital tokens to fans in exchange for a "licenced digital image" https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/qpr-launch-digital-collectibles-141221/ Crystal palace seem to be offering even less just giving fans votes in a poll or to play games against other fans, seems a bit weird. https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/partner-news/crystal-palace-to-launch-cpfc-fan-token-on-socios-com/2021-12-09/ I follow a bit of digital art and I've come across NFT'S before. I've never been able to wrap my head around how people part with so much money to "own" a digital image I can just right click and save as 🤷‍♂️ Needless to say, the QPR and Palace announcements have gone down like a lead balloon on Twitter and it all seems very dodgey. There is also a bloke popping up on various clubs Twitter accounts promoting this Cryptocurrencies, acting like he's a lifelong fan of each, saying how great these partnerships are. Anyone else come across these before and have more knowledge than I have? Feels like the sort of shady, pyramid scheme Waggott would be all over!
