Pretty sure Waggott (I think, not Mowbray) previously said that if they hadn't signed new deals by January, they would be sold (should a club be interested) and replacements brought in. It was probably just a bluff, paper talk to try and put the scares on the players but they (or their agents) seem to have stood firm and now Waggott has backed us into a corner and we'll have to back up the bluff with actions.
