  1. At some point, self preservation will kick in for all those in the firing line. Worryingly for us, you'd imagine Suhail will be the prime candidate for survival, as he clearly already has the Rao's trust.
  2. Our only real hope of getting something is if the Sheff Wed players don't turn up due to not being paid. It's the battle of the shite owners. 2 poor squads but Sheff Wed have the ace up their sleeve of having a far superior manager, as opposed to our utterly dreadful one. Can't for the life of me see us getting a win, we'll be lucky to score a goal these days. I think we'll see a similar game to the Boro one. We start slow, concede (maybe twice?), put in a horrific first 45mins and then maybe come out for the 2nd half and show a bit more but not quite enough to rescue anything.
  3. What's the timeline on this stuff? Don't wanna be that guy but the club signed a 5 year kit deal in 2021 with Macron, so we wouldn't be changing supplier yet. SW already mentioned in those interviews that we've had plans about design etc for 150th anniversary on going for a while. Again, the stooges confirmed that Academy will remain a Cat 1 in those interviews, would be a ballsy move to say that to try and calm the fans, only to backtrack soon after, with the fans in full revolt. Just gives us more ammo. Could all be true and the rest of it might very well be. I always expect the worst with this lot tbf, so it might all be.
  4. The hierarchy at Rovers have been good at just one thing since these clowns rocked up, dividing the fan base. It's been bizarre over the last 15 years that we haven't been able to get a unified front as supporters. Glen and Co. deserve enormous credit for unifying the fan base a lot more than it has been for years. It's the only way we'll ever get anything to change at Rovers. It's too easy for the club to snuff out any dissenting voices when it's just a small group of fans when the majority of fans are also against them. Feels like there has been a significant shift across the fan base this time. Some obvious (alleged) club/Venky plants have been popping up over the last few days but it seems more and more of the fanbase are aligning and starting to realise life under these bastards is actually a nightmare.
  5. 😂😂 Another paid for by the club story. Fucking hell, we've won 0 games under this clown. He getting rid of the entire squad is he?
  6. I do get where you're coming from in this situation though, 0 - 2 down, at home, after 8mins, yeah, he probably should have been doing something to show at least a bit of passion about it. As I say, overall it doesn't bother me that much but, you know what, I think for yesterday's game, you're right. If that can't stir some kind of fire/emotion from him, nothing will.
  7. Not sure if Toppling the king refers to Waggott, Suhail or The Rao's. Great work in any case though. I did wonder, after one of your previous posts where you mentioned about The Rao's being furious about recent events, if there would be some big reaction from them in anyway? The never want to sell, sadly, but do seem willing to rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic at times.
  8. What he's doing on the sidelines doesn't bother me in the slightest, it's the lack of managerial ability that's a bigger concern.
  9. Lord have mercy! Get shut of this clown asap, useless.
  10. OK, so once again, how do other clubs do it? Because outside of Sunderland and Leeds the average home attendance is 28k or less, with only Derby, Sheff Utd and Coventry getting near those figures. At least half the championship have an average attendance of 20k or less.
  11. We are towards the bottom end of the championship in terms of wage bill. There are Rovers fans out there, proven by larger gates for certain games, with the right approach the club could get them back. The vast majority that have stopped going was because of the owners, why wouldn't they come back under new ownership and positive fan engagement?
  12. That number getting another raise. Was £20m, then up to £22m the other day, now £25m. How do other championship clubs do it?
  13. Isn't his salary published in the accounts? (Could be wrong there)
  14. We won't sack him, it won't be long before the excuse of Ismael not having the right players for how he wants to play/summer rebuild will be trotted out. Not seen any evidence of this mythical high press Gestede keeps talking about either.
  15. That first half had all the hallmarks of a team getting relegated: ✅️ No recognisable shape ✅️ No patterns of play ✅️ No attacking threat ✅️ Defensively poor ✅️ Conceding sloppy goals ✅️ Players losing their heads (needless fouls/bookings through frustration) ✅️ Players devoid of confidence It showed us, for exactly what we are right now. A club in complete disarray from Fans ➡️ players ➡️ manager ➡️ boardroom ➡️ owners
  16. Pears had a poor game but he wasn't at fault for either goal. Not sure what you were expecting him to do, he had to dive to cover the shot, if he'd stood still and it went in the bottom corner, you'd be fuming at him for not diving. He can't help the deflection, nor can he change direction mid-dive to stop it going in. He nearly cost us a goal later though and he's a dogshit keeper.
  17. I'm sure the sky cameras picked up some fans with: 100% Rovers 0% Venkys Written across them
  18. Getting the owners rattled? Now that's a job well done 👏
  19. I was expecting his appointment to be bad but fucking hell, the bloke has taken us backwards at an alarming rate. 1 down after 75 seconds 2 down after 8 minutes Probably the worst 45mins we've played since the days of K**n If the club had even an ounce of sense, they'll be sacking this clown as I type.
  20. Ohashi has looked bright since he's been on tbf.
  21. Woodrow with a good tackle.... ...... .......on Cantwell
  22. Don't worry guys, Woodrow is on to save the day. One piece of the significant investment is on!
  23. Most of our Crosses go straight to the keeper, so it wouldn't matter if the BFG was upfront
