Completely agree with the midfield pairings but tbh, I'm yet to find a midfield pairing I do like. Tronstad has to be 1 of the 2 in any pairing but: Sonny & TGH: Best we can do at the moment. Not enough creativity between them. Sonny & Forshaw: As above but with slightly less energy as Forshaw hasn't got the legs anymore. Sonny & Taveres: Just the worst pairing. They both end up occupying the same space. Taveres is the opposite of the high workrate of TGH. Sonny & Montgomery: Montgomery has the energy and work rate but has gotten lost in games to an extent and also has the same lack of creativity as TGH. Sonny & Baradji: Feel like this will be the one for a few months at the end of the season before Sonny leaves in the summer and we're back to square 1.

I'm sure Ismael was asked in an interview (BBC Lancs, i think) about Carter suggesting on social media that he's nearly back, VI responded saying he was still some way off yet and his post was more likely regarding being mentally on the right track. I think Carter is still some months away from a return. I think the most likely option to replace Alebiosu at RWB would be Hedges shifted over and De Neve/Yuri play on the left. TGH is a possibility but there is no one left to play CM if he goes.

Ismael has described Sidnei Taveres as "one for the future". He (badly) clarified that he means Taveres needs to learn and develop more and not put pressure on him. He could very well be lined up to replace Tronstad in the summer.

Ismael has got a slight problem on his hands now, as he's already praised the impact of Cantwell and has recently been singing the praises of Mori. He's probably going to have to try and accommodate both of them. Seems highly unlikely that the first team are playing friendlies matches in a week where we have 3 games. They played Tuesday, they will have had Wednesday off.

They could appoint the best CEO in the game, it makes no difference as they have no power to do anything at the club under the current regime.

Although in Ismael's post match interview after the (shite) Oxford result he suggested Baradji wouldn't be ready to start this game, I'd like to see him start, especially if Tronstad is back and TGH isn't. Tronstad and Taveres doesn't work as a midfield pairing.

Sounds more like a temporary fix to get us through the season, so in the summer everyone can forget about it and save our Billionaire owners some cash.

I know we are better away but difficult to predict a win here. It's another must win game though.

They won't be accurate and if they are anywhere near, whoever picked out Taveres for £2m needs sacking immediately.
