The fact we haven't got enough in the locker to beat these lot is wholly depressing. -

Tyjon has travelled with the squad. -
Some insane copium in defending Venkys there. Is that the best they can come up with? They realise this is a football club right? Match day experience, attendances, league position, cup progression, player trading, the academy, stadium infrastructure, training facilities fan engagement etc. Does all of that mean NOTHING over the last 15 years. It's ok though, we've now got a much smaller but more diverse crowd 👏. Well done Venkys, you've really raised the bar.

Mike Ashley would be preferable to Venkys but in reality we don't want him as our owner either. For all their financial stability, Newcastle were the laughing stock of English football under him, with a constant stream of ridiculous decisions and like us under Venkys, no matter how much things calm down for a period of time, you know the owners are waiting in the wings with another stupid decision to tip the boat over again. Venkys took the crown off Ashley and made us the laughing stock of English football, but whilst Ashley would provide us with a much need gasp of air, it would be short term and we'd be thrown back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons soon enough. Although preferable to Venkys, I'd much rather not have another owner who is going to have us question who benefits from their decisions, when the question should never need to be asked in the first place.

A 16 year old on loan from a premier league team if we're lucky? -

We might be forced down the route of League One as we can't have many/any ESC slots left, as noted above we might have 1 if we can convert Toth's. -
He's never really had any end product. 162 apps 27 goals 25 assists which averages out at a goal or assist every 3 games BUT those stats are skewed significantly from when he had 1 good season, getting 11 goals and 15 assists (which is impressive). Other than that 1 season, he's been poor.

Bergvall was offside, not Richarlison. It was pretty clear as well tbf.

Has any other club had the same issue as Rovers? All working under the same timescales/restrictions? -

It's a must win game against a team that are in administration, barely have a squad, haven't won at home, have only won 1 game all season and will like field a team largely made up of youngsters. Absolutely no way are we winning this. When do Rovers ever do what they need to do? -

Ha, correct you are! Seems a really bizarre decision to take them off so early. -

I've not really read through the thread, what's going on? Why did sales go off so early for this one? -

I agree with you on getting a RWB, Litherland isn't the long term solution but I think they will be looking at a LWB, CB (O'Riordan) and a striker. I think they'll just stick with Litherland until Alebiosu is back and address the situation in the summer. -

I literally said finding takers for those players will be tough, as they are either rubbish or injured. In Taveres's case, it's both. -

Gueye out and a new striker in seems fairly obvious, if we can shift him out. I suspect we'll shift both Pickering and Ribeiro out, with the intention of bringing in 2 new defenders in. O'Riordan has been recalled so that'll be one and the emergence of Litherland might have stopped them looking at a backup RWB option. LWB is a concern as Hedges is injury prone and also leaving in the summer (as it stands), De Neve as we know, isn't good enough. Assuming we'll look to address that, should both Picks and Ribeiro leave. Centre mid is a bit of a mess, Tronstad is off in the summer, as is Forshaw. TGH and Baradji are only on loan, Montgomery is injured and Taveres is injured and rubbish. Garrett is injured and probably not up to this level but if assume he's not currently registered anyway. We need a Tronstad replacement (even if they are signed now and loaned out for the season). Realistically any of Forshaw, Garrett, Kargbo, De Neve, Taveres, Gueye and 1 of Ribeiro or Pickering, could leave to free up a squad place/wages but finding takers will be tough as they are injured or just rubbish (or both). -

He had a good first 45mins, set Whittaker up for what should have been a goal. Dropped off a cliff edge in the second half but so did the majority of the Boro team. -

Agreed. Worked hard but anytime it came to needing any quality he didn't have it. -

We really need another striker. Henriksson worked hard today but he's not really a striker and we need better if we're going to stay up. -
