I can't see us landing JPVH if i'm being truthful with myself. I'd love us to sign him but I just don't think it will happen. We definitely need 2 in by the end of the week as a minimum.

It was never going to be a one window fix, we have too many average/inconsistent players. At the minute though, it seems we are struggling to plug the gaps!

Garrett, unless I've missed that he's injured, is yet to be involved in a match day squad, including the game against Hartlepool as far as I can tell. Both would probably benefit from a loan for a season. In any case, neither seem ready for championship football or at least the manager doesn't believe they are ready. We definitely need another CM, saying that, you could probably put a good argument across for needing quite a lot of players. The squad is poor/thin on the ground across the board. Kaminski, Ayala, Wharton, Brittain, BBD, Trav and Dack aside, you could make a case for replacing any of the others.

For all of you expected goal fans. Restricting us to 0.09 sounds pretty bad for us. (Although I don't really understand xG all that much)

We only have 2 fit centre backs (as far as I am aware) who both need to be rested but it seems We've got no choice but to play them.

Take nothing away from their free kick though. Great strike. We don't have a player in our squad who could hit a free kick like that. We looked all over the shop, some serious issues within that set up. The Ash Phillips block on the line was a result of some seriously awful organisation. Half of the players stepped out, a few stayed back leaving a giant hole in between, which a Sheff Utd player ran straight into, Szmodics just pointing at him and no one picking up the runner. Yes we need players but jury is well and truly out on JDT.

Worrying times. Yes we need players but it seems like we aren't even laying a glove on these teams. Tubbed by Paul Ince and Heckingbottom, one shocking manager and one bang average one.

I can see why you've posted this but tbh, seeing another team show some grit and determination to get back into a game currently doesn't do much for me (even if it is against the Dingles) when our lot just throw in the towel.
