There was an interview on the Rovers website the other day, where Mowbray was talking about outgoings and he said a player might want to leave the club (I can't remember the exact quote). All the video clips were of Rothwell, possibly just out of coincidence as his contract is running out but you never know.

I'm definitely in the camp of "selling Rothwell now, especially to a promotion rival, is insane" BUT I suspect that Rothwell wants to leave and Mowbrays recent comments have suggested as much. So with that in mind I think Rothwell will end up going, which would be madness from our point of view. The only way I can imagine Mowbray would be even remotely happy with it, is if he is guaranteed funds from the sale to reinvest. Even then, you'd need a replacement lined up beforehand.

Team sheet certainly highlights the poor squad depth. We lose a couple of players and their replacements arent up to scratch. Probably the thing that will stop us getting promoted in the end I'd wager.

A loss here and our confidence will be shot and QPR, West Brom and Boro will have the opportunity to close the gap/overtake us. Huge game really, and to go in relying on Gallagher is going to be mammoth task.
