  1. I guess JDT really doesn't rate him much. We can make 5 subs and he's not considered good enough for a place on the bench?
  2. Gutted for him. Looking very thin on the ground for CB's now!
  3. Be a shame to see him leave just as we are starting fresh under JDT but his sale this summer has been inevitable as he won't be signing a new deal. As long as we replace him, then it will be fine but that's not a guarantee. Where have you read that btw?
  4. Probably just wanna see what all the brfcs fuss is about
  5. I suspect our immediate focus will shift towards a centre back now?
  6. Yep, he's a class player. Let's hope he gets back fit and JDT gets him back to his best.
  7. We've known BBD is likely to be leaving for months. It would be beyond madness if we didn't have a couple of replacement targets in mind.
  8. I do like the sticker book idea. Don't know a great deal about this lad but at least we've got another target over the line.
  9. Yeah i got my 2 daughters to watch it in hope it would inspire them to get into footy but alas, it seems to have failed.
  10. Always difficult to justify changing the lineup following a win but I think as we are just starting out life under JDT, tweaks over the first few games are inevitable.
  11. He sounds incredibly injury prone! 🤷‍♂️
  12. Well done Lionesses 🦁🦁🦁
  13. Full time! The JDT era begins with a win!
  14. Buckley must be treading a fine line?
  15. Be interesting to see how JDT uses his substitutions. Mowbray was always reactive in this respect.
  16. Who could we sub him off for? Edun? He's the only CM on the bench. Is he even a CM?
  17. Huge call starting Vale and Hedges tbh. I didn't see Hedges as the type that fitted with the high press, high energy/intensity game plan?
  18. 15mins until the team news is out for the first line up of the JDT era! Let's hope the Tombola has been chucked in the skip.
  19. It feels like (purely based off interviews etc) that JDT would be pushing a winning mentality on the squad, rather than TM's shoulder shrug and "we'll turn up and see what happens" Obviously a few things need to change/improve from the Mowbray era but hopefully JDT isn't driving us all crazy with team selections, players out of position, lack of training on set pieces and a footballing philosophy that doesn't have much in the way of formations. He's already put one fear the rest recently, where he's said he doesn't want possession for the sake of it, nor does he want us just pointlessly passing it around at the back. It's an exciting day for sure to see how he sets us up etc. Pre season didn't give that many clues due to the mixed teams used in most games.
