  1. Both Dennis and Pears so poor for the opener.
  2. What a fucking horrific appointment Ismael has turned out to be. Embarrassing stuff
  3. Nar, Rovers always announce the lineup in formation order.
  4. I only really use twitter as social media, so it's a narrow field but the fans on there turned when JE walked, some were conned by the club/Nixon's bullshit but since Ismael's appointment there aren't many happy fans on there. He was an unpopular appointment and the shocking performances haven't helped at all. There aren't many positive Rovers comments on there these days. You're right, a season of struggle next season would probably be enough to tip the fanbase over the edge. Bearing in mind, there will be a lot of players leaving and no investment into the playing squad, no new contracts for key players either.
  5. Is he changing stuff or not? 🤷‍♂️ Is he waiting for pre-season or not? 🤷‍♂️ Why is he trying to make us possession based again? 🤷‍♂️ Are we even bothered about the playoffs or not? 🤷‍♂️ Does he actually know what he's doing or not? 🤷‍♂️
  6. Yeah, that's pretty damned poor. Considering we needed to replace the leading goal scorer in the league last season, who kept us up almost single handedly, you'd think we'd have recruited better. Difficult task but it shows exactly why you need to reinvest a good chunk of the transfer money received and not just 10% (at best)
  7. With Brittain out, that's probably how i'd go as well. Not a lot of confidence that it will get a result but not really much else we can do
  8. 3 games 3 poor performances Horrendous start for the new bloke. He's looking like busted flush, the players looked clueless.
  9. It's been some rancid performance from Cantwell. I normally don't like to rip into him much as he's probably the only half decent attacker we've got bit christ he's been fucking shite tonight.
  10. Whatever it is, it bounced off the floor and smacked us squarely in the face. Hard.
  11. Where's the Significant investment? Oh yeah, he's on the bench.
  12. So poor. Anyone who picks Adam Forshaw ahead of Tronstad deserves everything he gets.
  13. Clearly the expectation from WBA was to be pushing for automatic promotion, which he was failing to deliver. They wouldn't sack him unless he was failing in the job.
  14. Assuming he won't opt for a back 3 from the off, this is how i'd expect us to line up. Ohashi and Dennis swap places though.
  15. No, that wasn't my point at all, it was just one of the criteria that was used to select the next manager. There are good managers out of work all the time. It doesn't mean that they are on the scrapheap. Cooper would have come here, if we offered him an attractive enough package i'm sure. If he didn't fail at WBA, why did they sack him?
  16. Never mentioned any of those managers, so no idea why you brought them up. Of those you've named, only Mowbray was rescued off the scrap heap. JDT had success at his previous job, Allardyce had built a PL managerial career off saving clubs from relegation and JE was ludicrously sacked by Birmingham. I highly doubt Allardyce and JDT were "cheap" either, they will have commanded good salaries. Ismael has failed at WBA, Watford and Besiktas. His only success is getting a play off spot with Barnsley years ago. He's cheap because even you've said that managers that command a decent salary won't come here, and it was backed up by your go to Journo in Nixon. I actually didn't want Edwards tbf.
  17. That's probably worse, 2 poor performances to start his tenure.
