  1. Is he changing stuff or not? 🤷‍♂️ Is he waiting for pre-season or not? 🤷‍♂️ Why is he trying to make us possession based again? 🤷‍♂️ Are we even bothered about the playoffs or not? 🤷‍♂️ Does he actually know what he's doing or not? 🤷‍♂️
  2. Yeah, that's pretty damned poor. Considering we needed to replace the leading goal scorer in the league last season, who kept us up almost single handedly, you'd think we'd have recruited better. Difficult task but it shows exactly why you need to reinvest a good chunk of the transfer money received and not just 10% (at best)
  3. With Brittain out, that's probably how i'd go as well. Not a lot of confidence that it will get a result but not really much else we can do
  4. 3 games 3 poor performances Horrendous start for the new bloke. He's looking like busted flush, the players looked clueless.
  5. It's been some rancid performance from Cantwell. I normally don't like to rip into him much as he's probably the only half decent attacker we've got bit christ he's been fucking shite tonight.
  6. Whatever it is, it bounced off the floor and smacked us squarely in the face. Hard.
  7. Where's the Significant investment? Oh yeah, he's on the bench.
  8. So poor. Anyone who picks Adam Forshaw ahead of Tronstad deserves everything he gets.
  9. Clearly the expectation from WBA was to be pushing for automatic promotion, which he was failing to deliver. They wouldn't sack him unless he was failing in the job.
  10. Assuming he won't opt for a back 3 from the off, this is how i'd expect us to line up. Ohashi and Dennis swap places though.
  11. No, that wasn't my point at all, it was just one of the criteria that was used to select the next manager. There are good managers out of work all the time. It doesn't mean that they are on the scrapheap. Cooper would have come here, if we offered him an attractive enough package i'm sure. If he didn't fail at WBA, why did they sack him?
  12. Never mentioned any of those managers, so no idea why you brought them up. Of those you've named, only Mowbray was rescued off the scrap heap. JDT had success at his previous job, Allardyce had built a PL managerial career off saving clubs from relegation and JE was ludicrously sacked by Birmingham. I highly doubt Allardyce and JDT were "cheap" either, they will have commanded good salaries. Ismael has failed at WBA, Watford and Besiktas. His only success is getting a play off spot with Barnsley years ago. He's cheap because even you've said that managers that command a decent salary won't come here, and it was backed up by your go to Journo in Nixon. I actually didn't want Edwards tbf.
  13. That's probably worse, 2 poor performances to start his tenure.
  14. Absolutely no excuse for not appointing either of these 2. We have plenty of cash left over from the £40m+ we've brought into the club (some of which is still coming in), a proper, decent appointment giving us the best chance for promotion and all the riches it offers. Instead we went for a cheap, out work manager that we've rescued off the scrap heap with absolutely no intention of building on the good work that Eustace laid down before him.
  15. Not a cat in hells chance we are winning this. We are a soft touch that wilt under the most minor of pressure. A win puts us back within touching distance of the playoffs, which almost certainly means a turgid performance and a loss. Our form won't pick up again until we're totally out of the playoff race (we are anyway) and any pressure has lifted. Then it's off on their summer jollies and back for pre-season with the usual talk of "putting things right this season, with a fresh start under the new gaffer", ad nauseam.
  16. Not that we need any more ammo against them but yeah, Waggott, Pasha and the cretins will all come out of this looking even worse than they already do, Derby survive and we continue to slide down the table. Next season we'll be struggling and Derby flying, probably with half our squad.
  17. If he gets nothing tonight and we put in another total disaster of a performance, I think we can starting writing this guy off as a duffer. Struggling against 2 of the worst teams in the league isn't exactly the signs we are looking for in a new manager. He said he'd come in and change nothing/very little, let's hope he's abandoned that now, as everything we did when we were good, we aren't doing anymore.
  18. Yep, 2 wins on the bounce (if it stays like that) good to see we kick started their drive to safety. Also, we're now 10th, fucking 10th, we were 5th like 2 games ago.
  19. If their plan is to put the prices up again, there won't be many buying season tickets at all, let alone at the last minute
  20. The only certainty for the future is that we will never be successful under these owners.
