  1. Yeah, I was surprised to see he was 24 when it was his birthday the other month. Feels like he should have made a bit more of an impact by now given his age. I guess it's not that surprising given the level he was playing at before us.
  2. Cheers for that, appreciated. Yeah, bit of a concern if he's quite a way off Vales numbers when you look how much he's struggled at first team level.
  3. Any wonder we conceded 2 against Rotherham, what's that a back 2?
  4. We won 3-2 Junior Nsangou with 2 goals and an assist. Zack Stritch with the winner.
  5. It's the U18's Lancashire cup or something. We're 3-2 up now.. Junior Nsangou always seems to play well for the academy, anyone who watches regularly know if he'd be anywhere near making a step up? 18 year old attacker, as described on Rovers website.
  6. Under 18's playing the Dingles right now. Went 1 up after 50seconds but have conceded twice (in true Rovers fashion) to be 1-2 down.
  7. The circus visits the clowns... .....Christ....
  8. Genuinely thought it was 5 but glad to be proven wrong on this one.
  9. Don't forget Vale was given like a new 5 year deal as well.
  10. Football becoming the biggest piss take of all time: ⚫ Have a player in your academy ⚫ Put years into developing said player ⚫ Premier League club literally takes him for nothing because the rules allow it ⚫ Prem club loans player back to previous club ⚫ Previous club pays x3 the amount in wages to loan player that they were paying before ⚫ Insert minimum appearance clauses (with penalties for failing) so the player can develop further ⚫ Send player back at the end of the season, developed further but at your expense.
  11. Not entertaining the idea of selling anyone whilst the clowns still have the excuse of the Indian Government restrictions to pull out of their back pockets. Wharton could be sold for £30m and we'd not see a penny. He's likely going to be the biggest sale we'll have for quite some time, can't waste it because we need just cover running costs. It would be the acid test for the "new model", a good chunk has to be wisely invested back into the playing squad otherwise the new model is just a smokescreen for pulling the fans pants down (again)
  12. It's almost guaranteed that he will hit a terrible run of form at some point. We, obviously had no interest in sacking him and just let it run it's course but neither Sunderland or Birmingham will allow it.
  13. Mogga's got a brand new bag. He loves a former player to work with, wonder if they'll make a cut price move for Gallagher. The bad news for us is, he'll likely keep them up comfortably which strengthens a relegation rival.
  14. I was unhappy that Travis was loaned out but loaning out Garrett as well would be bonkers. Tronstad and Wharton can't play every week and JRC isn't fit to play/injury prone. Buckley is out for months. Surely, there is no way JDT would allow the club to leave him with just 2 Centre mids?
  15. Have to improve defensively this is a joke. Even Cambridge are turning up bagging 2.
  16. Any chance you can post the content of the article? Paywalled for me.
  17. Trav also asked to leave in Oct, where could he have gone then?
  18. Interesting comment about the finances, assuming the lad we signed today and Buckley being back have already eroded that though.
  19. Yeah same. Want him to do well but not convinced he will.
