  1. I dunno, I suspect he'll get at least one win to drag them over the line
  2. All they need is one win from 3 games on the back of a managerial bounce and they are safe.
  3. Yer i get that and i know, i know it makes me a massive hypocrite (much like millions of others) but I'm not about to devastate my kids by not giving them any presents at Christmas. Anyway, getting way off topic. Let's not get relegated Etc.
  4. Whatever keeps them away from religion. Anyway, this isn't the thread for this discussion.
  5. Yer i do. Spend time with family and friends. Give gifts to my kids and see the happiness on their faces etc. Do i celebrate the birth of Jesus, nope. Do i know anyone who actually does at Christmas? Nope.
  6. If you believe in that miracle (i.e one that never happened), then I'm starting to see where your relentless, baseless optimism comes from. This board will be a proper grim place to be come this evening.
  7. It feels like every time there is a championship game on we get kicked in the nuts. Doesn't seem to matter who's playing either. This season is bullsh*t.
  8. It would have to be Guthrie in the middle with him, Bennett in there too (depending on formation) Mahoney and probably Feeney on the wings, Conway isn't playing well at the moment so needs to be dropped. I think Joao and Emnes up front, with Emnes sitting a bit deeper.
  9. And yet people always tell me championship/league one is our Natural level. @#/?.
  10. Normally I'd be against throwing in youth players in such big games but the first team have been woeful and or central midfield options are abysmal. Tomlinson certainly sounds like he's got the attributes we need. I say give him a go.
  11. Woke up, checked the league table. Nope not a nightmare, we are 4 points behind Bristol City. Our fate is not in our hands anymore. Also a quick glance at League one made me want to cry. The sort of teams you want in a cup draw not a league fixture.
  12. Failing to get the team motivated enough to keep the ball out of the net at home against Barnsley for a massive 3 minutes is awful management.
  13. If you get time, crack FF15 open, its a good game (or I think so anyway) The Scorpio has annoyed me a little bit, seems like its out pretty quickly following the xbox one (released November 2013, 3 and a half years, against 360 Dec 2005 release, 8 years)
  14. A genuinely class midfielder and probably ranks as my favourite ever Rover. An absolute joy to watch and as someone pointed out earlier, when he made a total mug of Gerrard on boxing day, it was superb. That screamer of a volley past Spurs was unreal, i think it gave me a minor heart attack. There was also a goal past some team in Europe, where he looked like he'd held on to the ball for too long before rifling one in the top corner. I often type his name into YouTube and relive some of his finest moments. What an absolute legend.
  15. Finished Final Fantasy 15 (main story) the other day. Decent game. Still got plenty of post game stuff to do.
  16. Wasn't a massive fan of his appointment, no problems in admitting that. He's done brilliantly in these last 3 games, 7 from 9, 2 clean sheets, 2 home wins on the bounce and an away point. All crucial fixtures, all tricky. Stuff like that, Coyle can only dream of. Mowbray only has to get 2 more clean sheets to equal clowns abysmal effort as well.
  17. Agreed but with that in mind there definitely should be a Kean sacked thread as well.
  18. Mowbray? Nar, he's not broken forum rules as yet.
  19. Bill Paxton (check my avatar) has died at the age of 61. Sad times.
  20. Similar to yourself, as the day has gone on I've warmed more to the appointment. This, it has to be said, is largely down to the fact I've spent the entire season so far hating the guy in the managers seat and quite frankly I'm fed up of despising the manager of my football club. So, I'm going to back Tony for the next 15 games (or until he gives me a good reason not to anymore) COYB! (and Tony)
  21. As this has Seniors paws all over it, it will be interesting to see what happens with Lucas Joao. Clownpants clearly didn't want him only subbed him on once (against Leeds) was left on the bench at both QPR and Rotherham. He was clearly Seniors signing.
  22. On the flip side, perhaps a change in backroom staff could work in his favour.
  23. Wouldn't go that far. Neither Dunn or Lowe were involved in the first team.
  24. Nail. Head. All about saving money. Venkys will be delighted. Can't say I'd have picked Mowbray myself. It's like a glitch in the Matrix, we have a front runner then a cheapo alternative rocks up in the form of Coyle and now the same thing has happened again!
