A dismal end to our season tonight. Luton Town complete the double over us, sticking 5 goals past us across 2 games. In the 9 games since the restart we have conceded 18 goals. Absolutely no where near good enough. I have no doubts Mowbray will still be here next season and he's absolutely crippled us by spending all of our budget on our "Strikeforce" and only patching up the defence with loans. If he doesn't address the defence this summer, we are in trouble next season.

For all the stick Johnson gets, he can play when he wants to (which is one reason he gets stick) He's played some blinding crossfield passes out to Nyambe.

Thats how its going to go. He does show some good defending at times though. Could be a player in there, just hope he manages to keep on track and learn from his mistakes.

I can’t get my head around a group of people who have owned a football club for 10 years, that don't see the importance of planning ahead with a transfer budget, allowing the manager to chase targets and get transfers done as early as possible. It doesn't add up, they run a huge business, planning and strategies for the future must be part of their daily life.

It feels like, we are the only club the daft prices don't apply to, unless we are buying of course. We can't buy Gally and BB for £5/6m and sell much better players like Dack, AA or Trav for less. Bonkers.

Who appeals the Wigan points deduction? And on what grounds? The owners took the decision to put the club into admin, knowing full well what would happen.

Arma's goals vs Cardiff and Hull were both belters. I love the Hull one, proper top corner job and i think it's just the way the ball rolls into the back corner of the net makes it look even better. A worthy winner though, the Cardiff one. A shame Trav's didn't get 3rd, it was a good goal but you can see what it means to him after it's gone in.

Exactly. Players like Samuel, Bennett, Williams, Bell etc should be the ones shown the door and the long term strategy should have been to upgrade on those, not flog our best players that we should be building the team around.

If we sell Trav to a prem team or a championship club who would be pushing for automatic promotion, then you can accept it but anyone else, no way. Sadly, this is how Venkys operate, get a quick cash influx but not for the players actual value. Yep, take those 5 out and we are kippered.

If we sold Trav to Coventry, for what would surely have to be a fraction of his actual value, then there is absolutely no hope for this football club.

Even though our season is dead, there is still a lot riding on this game for other teams, we still have our part to play. Luton obviously need to win. They current sit in the relegation zone on GD but can get to 51 points with a win. With Boro, Charlton and Birmingham all on 50, they could overtake any of those should results go their way. Wigan also still in the mix with the 12 point deduction looming. They can get to 61 points but then knock off the 12 and they are back down to 49. They do have a huge GD on Luton though. With Hull already down, 1 place left for someone. A few teams in the mix.
