Last time we played them, it was practically a Stoke B side and they beat us. Have we beaten a team in the top half of the table yet? Not confident, certainly won't be sticking a Mercer on a Rovers win. Last time we beat them at home was in 2015, in the cup.

And this is it basically. This Everton kid might be class but this one player, in this one position isn't going to resolve much, short term or long term. The players at our disposal are largely irrelevant when the man in the hot seat can't set them up or use them correctly.

The mismanagement of Harrison Reed is a huge black mark against Mowbray for me. Such a waste of a good player.

When Kean was bulletproof, that was the closest I think I've ever been from giving up on football altogether. Every week the same old horrible performances and defeats but with owners with no desire to pull the trigger. With Mowbray, we obviously haven't hit those depths but its hugely infuriating knowing the owners have no desire to sack him just because he's a nice bloke. The absolute opposite of how they need to approach the situation. Football is about 1 thing and 1 thing only, results.

Unless we've offered a curly wurly and a packet of love hearts I doubt very much we've offered any money for a player. Pretty sure Mowbray said we wouldn't be making any permanent additions in this window, only a loan from a premium club, perhaps 2.

Sounds like Bournemouth want the Everton defender and King might be used as part of the deal. I hope we have other targets lined up.

Looking thin on the ground for centre backs here. He might start an under 23 player but i can't seem him not playing Lenihan.
