Leeds have been spending some serious cash so far: Costa - £16m Koch - £12m Rodrigo - £27m Fulham have singed a few players but nothing to that level by the looks. West Brom have signed Pereira for about £8m, who was on loan to them last season anyway.

West Brom are stringing him along a little but in turn he's doing the same to us. If he does sign for us in the end and his first interview is full of him praising the club/players/manager/history etc. it will all be fairly hollow words really as he is only interested in coming here if he can't get a better move (which is fair enough)

Joined and completed an August Strava challenge to run 100k within the month. Had a week off when me and the family went away but still (just) managed it.

With the power of hindsight (and a time machine) would you still buy Brereton, when we did, for the amount we did? Reed might not be worth £8m but Fulham would have been stung a little bit as the selling club knew they had a massive influx of cash from promotion. Not sure why you're bringing Trav into it but the team would be significantly better off if we had spent the BB money on Reed and put him in the middle of the park next to Trav.

That's not even remotely true. BB is a lot of things but value for money he most definitely is not. Reed would have contributed so much more to the team.

This lad isn't going to go to West Brom believing he is going to be on the bench all season, even if everyone else does. Its a chance, maybe the only chance he will have in his career to try and make it as a Premier league footballer. No one can sit here and expect him to pass this opportunity up.
