  1. Good that we have finally got a keeper in. No idea what he's like though!
  2. He wouldn't have joined Man Utd. As for joining anyone else, how the hell would anyone know, he wasn't even a bloody footballer!
  3. You're not Jack Walker, so no you can't. So he wouldn't have gone to Man Utd (its not always about Man Utd, although with you it is), what about any of the other big clubs around? When are we even talking? Now? 1995? 1950?
  4. Impossible to answer that. You can't answer it either. Like many situations in life, you can't guarantee how anyone will act until that moment happens, no matter what they say before hand. Of course, it could happen but realistically, it won't. But i genuinely do admire your optimism
  5. Good start..... I guess Nyambe will be played there if needed. Lenny and Mulgrew for the first few games then
  6. Is that other lad still on trial with us?
  7. As always, we can only wait and see how he does at Reading and how we do without him.
  8. Clutching a straws a bit on that one. The gap between the rich and poor clubs is getting bigger and bigger. And money does all the talking. If Man City came in for Travis, we wouldn't see him for dust. And who could blame him? Possibly a once in a lifetime chance to play alongside some of the best players in the world, in the top league, playing champions league football, winning trophies, under the best manager in the game and getting paid a kings ransom to do so, setting him up for life. The days of true loyalty are gone in football. At best, they'd come back in the twilight of their career and play for the club they support again. Don't get me wrong, someone like Travis turning round and saying he's a huge Rovers fan, becomes one of the best midfielders in the game and stays here for his whole career, rejecting big money moves along the way, would be incredible. Sadly, it just won't happen.
  9. You've always had a weird thing for Coyle, never understood why. He is a truly fucking abysmal manager.
  10. He is back, i think. He posted a couple of pages back
  11. If he persists with Benno at right back, this lad will be recalled by Xmas.
  12. Happy to loan this lad but Mowbray has a history of not playing loan players or not playing them in their correct position. If he is our only defensive reinforcement, he needs to be good enough to be playing most weeks.
  13. It looks like (to me at least) we've sold Raya to bring in some money and that money will be spent/has been spent on a striker (Gally) and a CB (yet to be determined). We obviously still need a keeper and i suspect it will be a loan to buy, so it basically comes out of next seasons budget.
  14. I think it was pretty much universally accepted that the number 1 priority was a new first choice centre back to come in, alongside Lenihan and push Mulgrew & Williams down the pecking order (or out altogether). I appreciate that you need to get players in when they become available but we aren't going to move forward unless the defensive frailties are resolved.
  15. I think the first bit is correct. As for what else is to come, god only knows.
  16. Hes taken Bell, Dack and Graham off. Buckley, BB and Rothwell all on. Who's at left back?
  17. You can watch the game for £12!! On Rangers TV I think
  18. I'd think it's more to do with getting minutes in for those players. Downing, Johnson, Evan's, Mulgrew haven't featured a great deal in the pre season games so far I don't think.
  19. We don't win on the opening day under Venkys. So 1-1, leading until the 93rd minute.
  20. Any idea when we will actually sign the keeper?
  21. Borderline criminal that we haven't replaced Raya yet and will be even worse if we allow our top targets to go elsewhere. Season is closing in fast.
  22. Just read an interview with Mowbray on the Rovers website, where he says with Bell and Williams soon to be back fit, it will probably see Hart go out on loan again. We can scratch off any ideas of signing a new LB i would think, Seems like TM is happy with those 2 options, possibly keeping Hart if the other 2 struggle for fitness
