  1. Which goes to show having the bulk of possession basically counts for very little.
  2. Samir hits the post. Not going to be our night
  3. Nar, not his fault, some horrific defending
  4. Also, who knew Tyler Morton was at Hull? (Not me πŸ™ˆ)
  5. 1-0 Another defeat then? That was some good awful defending as well
  6. So do I. We are desperate for a decent option up front. I hope he has a stormer, he's not shown much in his appearance ls so far though. 🀞🏻here's hoping
  7. A few on twitter really happy about this, not sure why? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ He's got a lot to prove in this start
  8. Telalovic starts. As does Garrett, Markanday and Hill. Interesting lineup. No idea how this goes. No Wharton or Carter either
  9. Not according to Broughton, no. JDT has the final say on transfers. Pretty sure JDT said in an interview himself, that he's said yes to a lot of players but they still hadn't arrived.
  10. He's going to have to shake things up a bit here, not sure how's best to do it with what we have available. -----------------Wahlstedt Hill------Carter------Hyam----Pickering ---Garrett----Tronstad----Wharton -Markanday---Ennis--Szmodics Our attacking options are utterly wank. Szmodics is the only one who really comes out with much credit so far this season, Leonard also to a degree. The rest have been disappointing for a while now, only showing anything for a couple of games at best. I don't really want to start Ennis or Markanday but Moran, Brittan & Sigurdsson don't deserve another start after boxing day and there aren't many options left. Gilsesnan could be considered but he hasn't even made the bench for the last 2 games, so assuming he's no where near the managers thinking right now. Might even go for: ----------------Wahlstedt Hill------Carter------Hyam----Pickering --------Tronstad---Travis Garrett-----Wharton-----Szmodics ------------------Ennis πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Fuck knows anymore
  11. The club's "ambitions" and the managers ambitions don't align. You've gotta feel for JDT, he clearly wants to actually try and get the club to achieve something but the owners are just looking at player resale value.
  12. What has he said that has suddenly made you expect a win?
  13. Is the game on the red button/Rovers TV?
  14. I don't disagree with the contracts making much difference, if SS wants out he'll be gone as GB and SW will want the money. Disagree about the fatigue though, he was left out for 1 game and was straight back in for the next. Not sure why there would be anymore to it right now. If he was being protected for a sale, he wouldn't have played 90mins against Huddersfield.
  15. Please tell me that's a joke. Would be a huge step backwards
  16. JDT is working under very difficult circumstances, no doubts.... .....BUT.... ..he doesn't help himself, I just don't see the benefit in the style of play he adopts. We concede goals for fun (now the 2nd worst goals against in the league) and even though our goals for isn't that bad, lately the goals have dried up and we have very little attacking threat. Yes, a lot of the blame falls to the owners for a lack of investment and the recruitment team for some awful transfers (we must have the worst collection of strikers in the league) but JDT sets the team up and coaches them and the tactics/style of play either doesn't work or doesn't suit the players we have. It's difficult to lay much blame at his door, given what he's got to work with, but his stubborn attitude to our style of play means he isn't blameless.
  17. Yup. The goals against column is a huge concern and if we can't resolve that, we're only heading one way.
  18. Or they'll just sell Wharton on the cheap to cover the costs πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  19. Just seen the highlights. Wahlstedt can hang his head in shame with letting that first one in. Awful. Defence were horrific for the second and Brittain just falling over, giving the ball away for the 3rd was pathetic. Most noticeable thing was how little effort the players seemed to be putting in for all 3. Unacceptable.
  20. The path to redemption has only ever been with new owners, sadly in the unlikely scenario that Venkys actually released us from their death grip, chances are we'd just be bought by more chances.
  21. And if the "plan" is to sell Wharton and Carter just to keep the lights on for a bit longer, relegation will arrive sooner than we'd like.
  22. No one is getting sacked. Develop players and stay in the championship are the only aims.
  23. 2-0, pack up and go home. It'll end 4-0
  24. FFS, we need to grow some bollox because we can't keep getting 0 points after we go behind. Time to grow a pair lads.
