The club’s silence on this is another sign of its contempt for Rovers fans. As far as I’m aware there’s been no communication from Ewood since that amateurish statement after deadline day. There’s an appeal going on (apparently) and again fans are left in the dark with no information or update to let us know what’s happening (or not). This is not the way to run a professional football club that without its supporter base has no reason to exist

The booing for Dack going off was pretty widespread but didn't last long As usual this season, the Rovers fans were pretty quiet until the goal - and then they had something to celebrate. But you can't blame them going to sleep watching Tomasson's football. It's awful - worse than under Mowbray The Albion fans were silent most of the time too - the Hawthorns as a whole was even quieter than Ewood

We looked more solid when Hyam came on. S Wharton is not the player of 6-12 months ago. Carter was very good last night. I don't rate him when he's played full back but he looked assured and composed and good some good blocks and tackles in Brittain was woeful and off the pace when he came on but the lad's had a long time out with injury. He's still our best right back

We were quite lively in the first 10 minutes and in the last 10 minutes but in between was 70 minutes of nothingness really Although it was better than previous away games and we were competitive we couldn't have complained if West Brom had been 2-0 up at half time. They missed some good chances like Watford did. The worst thing about Rovers is we are so tedious to watch. The constant passing among the defenders and goalkeeper does not achieve anything whatsoever in leading to an attacking move and I'd like the manager to explain why we continue to do it and what he is trying to achieve. For the most part, there is no urgency and pace about our game and the one ball we play from deep is always out to the left wing where, unless it is perfect, Brereton usually cannot make anything of it I left the ground pleased at the draw in the end but then you think back it was poor overall West Brom and Rovers are two average teams IMO and will finish mid-table.

Never left early in 60 years except for Peterborough last season. Great goal but the rest of it, dear oh dear. Watching Rovers is like watching paint dry.

Set off at about 4.30 and got here about 7.20 so about 2 hrs 50mins. On the M6 it felt like 5 hours. Any other examples of exaggeration would be appreciated Come on Rovers
-
Why is Brereton playing? Might as well have 10 men. Three hours on the road to watch our non scoring “striker” hide on the left wing
-
Hoping for a change of luck PB. As always with Rovers I’m hoping for the best and fearing the worst
-
We're setting off in the next 10 minutes Come on Rovers

Tickets nabbed. If you fancy a flutter on a Rovers defeat I haven’t seen us win a point away from home this season
-
Yes see what you mean though it was very personal between him and her and I think she wanted to have it out with him face to face. Made for a good scene
-
I know.

How would you have preferred the ending? I thought they did it rather well, in contrast to the lame endings of Line of Duty and Bodyguard, two others which gripped TV audiences and both written by Jed Mercurio, both of which stretched credulity. Last Sunday night wasn't right without HV

Brereton needs to be dropped Pears Brittain Carter Hyam/Wharton Pickering Thomas, Travis, JRC, Hedges Dack Dolan
-
Went to this match last year on almost the exact same date - a turgid 0-0 draw IIRC in which Brereton got injured and effectively scuppered our play-off hopes We're mulling going again if tickets are available although (albatross warning) I haven't seen Rovers get a point away from home this season yet.

Are IPS our usual lawyers and would they have been working on transfer deadline night? Or do you think this is a new lot? Why does Farnell concern you?
-
Just surmising. As a legal eagle what do you think?
-
As a half glass full man that's very defeatist by you. There's still more than 50 points at stake - anything can happen If you're asking, I don't think we'll make it even with O'Brien because we still desperately need new forwards - but although we're slowly sliding down the table I wouldn't give up hope just yet The FA Cup is different though. I want a day out at Wembley before I pop my clogs
-
Errrmmm, didn't we have "lawyers" working on transfer deadline night, because that is what we were told? Or are these new lawyers, ie, lawyers specialising in litigation after something has gone wrong? We should be told, but won't be

Jon Dahl Tomasson - no longer Sweden coach
jim mk2 replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
That's a pathetic thing to say. The man's getting as bad as Mowbray for silly quotes -
Gallagher's header...... dear oh dear oh dear. Total lack of football brain to head it back into the danger area when even a Sunday league player would have ducked under it or let it skim off the top of his head for a corner

Nathan Jones is a better manager than Tomasson as anyone who went to the Luton away match would testify. We were flying high at the time so the first half was cagey as Jones and Luton had a look at us First 20 minutes of the second half Luton applied sustained pressure and our defence duly crumbled. Luton shut up shop and the game was over Jones will walk into another Championship job

No

We'd have taken a point before the match but 2 wins in 10 says we're heading for a mid-table finish. Leicester beat Spurs 4-1 today but there's still hope in the FA Cup

Milwall and Luton in top 6 ....... and some say we're doing well just to be in the championship
