  1. What does "we are all set with attackers" mean ? He thinks our forwards are the best we can do and we don't need any more or any that are better? For a start, with Graham no longer first pick and ,Gallagher and Brereton's goal scoring record pitiful, we don't have a striker or natural No 9 who can put the ball in the net.
  2. Boro done well to turn it round against Forest tonight. Forest still in the playoff mix though so it doesn't affect us unless we get into the top 6.
  3. After taking 3 points out of the last 9 we need to take 20 points out of the next 30 to get in the mix of the top 6. Not impossible but highly unlikely. Strangely, I feel more upbeat about Derby away than the last 2 home games. Tom Lawrence will inevitably score against us but I'd go with the team that played at Charlton and Brentford with Williams in if he is fit for Lenihan and possibly Gallagher in for Samuel.
  4. Players running at high speed will come into contact with each other. If anything the Swansea player looked like he was trying to turn away to minimise contact. There was nothing in that collision that looked like he was trying to hurt Walton. The referee had a good game and got it exactly right.
  5. Yep, me too. The Swansea lad and Walton collided - they couldn't avoid each other
  6. Down to the manager and coaches to find his best position and leave him there. The lad can play
  7. ....... that managers don't know how to get the best out of him ? He can't be a "very good player" and not secure a regular place. Personally, I'd have loved him at Ewood. Had a few ropey games but more often than not was excellent for us.
  8. Yep, but we've taken 3 points out of 9, so we're arguably in poor form too
  9. Preston are in a top 6 place - how they are playing is irrelevant
  10. PNE are "in the mix" for the playoffs because they are in the top 6. To be in the mix, you have to be included. and we won't be "in the mix" until we get in the top 6. At the moment we are challenging for the top 6. Nothing more. It's quite simple really.
  11. Everyone forgetting Thierry Henry.....one of finest players to grace the game
  12. Nope, in the mix means "included", so to be in the mix in this context means being in the top 6. We're not.
  13. You have to be in the top 6 to be "in the mix". We've haven't been top 6 for nearly 10 years.
  14. I'd love an explanation for that one from the manager and players. Armstrong converted well last week so there was no reason for him not to take it again. Unlike you I'm a DG fan but if he called seniority over it then he was out of order. Cost us 2 points and we could be having a big celebration now after a next to last minute winner.
  15. Thanks for giving me a good laugh on a bad day?
  16. I think we're top of the table on that stat
  17. We were saying that 3 games ago and it didn't happen.
  18. We've had so many chances to get up there. It's not going to happen because the team isn't quite up to it.
  19. Might as well be 30 points.
  20. Another one. The table doesn't lie - we're not good enough
  21. Draw would be a relief but 3 points out of 9 is hopeless. Playoffs as far away as ever
  22. Probably the worst decision over the last 10 years. And there's been plenty of them
  23. Stockmarkets are well down because of coronavirus and will have hit Tony's pension pot for six this week. His adviser says he needs another season to make up the deficit so go easy today.
  24. Not only that Phil, but I've been saying all week Swansea would win 2-1. Should have done a Mercer and put some money on
  25. Armstrong scored the pen at Brentford so why wouldn't he take it ?
