Big lump Morris looked a very average player much of the time in the game at Kenilworth Road and is the very definition of the term "journeyman striker" yet he's emerged as a key player for them. Carter and Hyam need to be on their guard -

Big game, high hopes, alot at stake, expectant home crowd, traditionally = Rovers fail Honestly, I'll be genuinely surprised if we win this -

I've no idea either but I hope he's better than Darren Ireland, who was rubbish the last time he reffed us, Darren Scotland who was no better and Darren Wales who was the worst of the lot. -

How many more times does it have to be explained that any fee for Wharton (or any player for that matter) is highly likely to go towards the club's running costs, and not be reinvested in other players? -

Good post. Even on the principle of Buggins's Turn we're long overdue to have a go at the playoffs We've seen much lesser clubs get to the PL (and stay there in some cases|) over the past decade yet here we are, still clutching at straws just to make the last 6. Come on whoever's watching over us up there, give us a chance

Coventry 1-0 after 3 minutes

The cup runs were welcome and it was good to see Tomasson taking the cups seriously unlike Mowbray Ultimately though, it's another failure, another huge opportunity missed, and possibly worse than last season because even a few short weeks ago we were still odds-on to make the playoffs. Some of us are getting old and are running out of seasons. Rovers have been out of the Premier League for a decade without ever looking like getting back, and it'd be nice if we could get back there before the older generation pop our clogs. I'm fed up with the "progress, optimism, positivity" mantra. Results are needed now. "Next year Rodney we'll all be millionaires" Except next year never comes

Vale plays like he can't be bothered most of the time - I've never seen another player (apart from Butterworth maybe) who looks so disinterested. That's an attitude problem
-
Even if other results go in our favour, I can't see us getting 6 points from the last 2 games We struggle to score goals and seem incapable of defending narrow leads and are hopeless at chasing a game when we go behind. The already thin squad is down to bare bones because of injuries and poor form - there are players being picked because they're the last man standing in some cases when some should be rested or dropped Tomasson's hands are tied and all he can do is shuffle a weak and depleted pack, and hope for the best After a season that promised so much that's all we're left with
-
Two games don't make a season but it's the arse end of the season that counts and two moments of madness against Coventry and Preston and 9 months of hard work have likely gone up in smoke.
-
Rovers won't win at Millwall. They have a goalscoring centre forward and we don't
-
Milwall playing out time. Are you watching Ryan Hedges? This is another nail in the Rovers promotion coffin. It's all so sad and frustrating
-
Fair play for sticking it out for so long especially with the dog's abuse you get It's always good to hear the views of a Burnley fan who comes across as a "normal" human being

It's decent 11 players on a pitch with a good manager and a supportive board Burnley have shown how it's done There's no reason why the likes of Sheff Wed, Preston, Bolton and Rovers etc have languished for years while former tinpot clubs have come to the fore -
Sheff United are not wonderful but they usually find a way to win. West Brom have been the better team tonight. I think Sheff will struggle next season without spending some serious money. There's a lack of quality in their team.

Luton weren't special when I went to Kenilworth Road but they're tough and pragmatic and they get the job done and win matches. Morris is a big lump up front and you wonder how he became a professional footballer but he scores goals and is a type of player we've lacked since Danny Graham finished. Our only hope is if we somehow manage to score first and hang on grimly by defending properly to the final whistle. If Luton score first we can forget it and might as well go home. On another note if Luton, bleeding, bloody naff Luton Town, reach the Premier League I might officially go mad and need locking up in padded cell. There's enough rubbish southern fourth division clubs in the top flight without another -

Coventry's handball equaliser, Preston's ridiculous equaliser and now tonight. Events in the past 3 games, bloody hell has someone at Ewood crossed on the stairs or put new shoes on a table? The team has obvious shortcomings but we have had no luck whatsoever -
