Those January funds were never verified and almost certainly not true, but he left soon after anyway, so spending would have likely strengthed his position, not weakened it. You must have a really high opinion of his managerial skills if you think that as soon as he starts trying, success follows. If we had gone up under him, his wage would have gone up and likely his deal would have been extended.

My point was that Mowbray wasn't doing anything but trying his best here. He did a decent job, if that was whilst barely trying then he must be an incredible manager when he does try, it was tongue in cheek. People are so twisted against him that they come up with any way they can to try and have a go, no matter how illogical. 10m of that money "spaffed" on strikers was clawed back, and a profit would have been made on the 3 deals if our owners weren't idiots.

He must be an excellent manager if he can match the points total that Tomasson has been praised over when half arsing it.

Mowbray derangement syndrome indeed. Bizarre.

Mowbray was doing his best too. Deary me.

23/24 kit; is a new sponsor needed?

But you have done a 180 since initially defending him following your chats. -
Easy as that, 2 weeks in advance, regardless of where you work.

Why are we back to shutting people down for being negative/moaning. -
Lot's of generational talents for one club!

Leicester seemingly in talks with Harry Winks and have also been linked in the last couple of days with Zack Steffen, Conor Coady, Tom Cairney and Joel Piroe so they could be strong if they get some of them.

Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?
roversfan99 replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
To compete with, ie as good as/at a similar level to Pears? Definitely. As good as Kaminski and better than Pears? Not impossible, but very difficult, especially if not all of the chunk of proceeds made available is needed elsewhere. -

Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?
roversfan99 replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
"No one has said that Kaminski is irreplacable" = thinking he is irreplacable. He was a brilliant bit of business and a bargain at £500k or whatever. He clearly is worth more hence why he will likely move on for considerable profit. Doesn't mean you can't find another for a similar price, but it is a small chance, proven by the fact that Kaminski himself is worth much more now. -
Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?

As far as I am concerned, Pears hasn't made loads of terrible errors, both of the ones you mention were errors but not terrible ones. He just isn't as good all round, he doesn't keep us in games like Kaminski did many times this season. So it's not just those errors that determine my opinion, unsure on others. No one has said that Kaminski is irreplaceable. But because he was so cheap, he was an excellent bit of business, there aren't loads of keepers of his quality at that price. -
Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?

The Kaminski was poor last season thing keeps cropping up which must either be recency bias or confirmation bias to justify what is expected to happen. Kaminski was superb until those last few games, keeping us in games as the stats reflect. The disparity between the superiority Kaminski as in terms of shot stopping and command of his box far outweighs Pears being a bit better with his feet. -
Point being, if it isn't announced then they won't be able to confirm. Otherwise they would without the need for prompting.
-
If they had sorted it, they would have said as such. The club won't reply saying "oh I forgot to announce it" and Elliott Jackson won't have a clue.
-
"Willing to work under strict budget" often is an indicator of a manager not otherwise particularly rated. Reminds me of when we appointed Owen Coyle.
-
All outweighed by being shit.
-
That's not a counter-argument to my point that the manager should choose the style, not the director of football.

It doesn't bother you because not only does it not affect you, but you have an empathy void. That has long since been established. Why people sat at home are prioritised so much over people who go to games is beyond me. Well no, money. The EFL and Sky are the problem, it stems from the formers greed and lack of regard to fans, but the latter also solely focus on their best interests too, not the fans. Not the proper ones, anyway. -
I think Burns and Pike are clearly not deemed at anywhere near the standard, so at least it got them some experience with finding a new club.

Rice is a level or two up from Phillips who is not a top player by any means. But just in terms of how he plays, it would be interesting to see how and where he fits in at such a great side who have a very specific way of playing. Their most defensive 2 midfielders need to be great on the ball, the more attacking 2 need to be really good in the final third.
