  1. I find it bizarre that even now, all these years in. Having seen so many people (both in terms of managers and staff and also at board level where we have had many lap dogs) at the various levels of the organisation in this country. That people thing the primary reason for the inefficiencies, for the lack of reinvestment, for the lack of plan, is anything other than solely on Venkys. The common denominator. People even still nowadays thinking thats its the ulterior motive of people over here, or the lack of merely asking for money, as to why we are run in such a stripped down way. As if they would otherwise oblige and spend if asked.
  2. And even then, the fact that Suhail is the owners middle man has been well known for a while.
  3. I dont doubt that he is the middle man for Venkys. But its this idea that Venkys are only not investing because theyve not been asked or told not to, by Suhail, before that by Waggott, before that by Mowbray, as is if they would willingly spend otherwise and it just so happens that various individuals have all simply not requested it. Its a load of bollocks. Even if it had any truth to it, obviously it would still be their responsibility anyway having trusted these people and not shown enough interest to notice that we do need money reinvesting, but still. If we spent a bit and went up, surely they would look even better in the owners eyes. Hes just a snake and a lapdog either way. But even if he went, same with Waggott perhaps to a lesser degree, another puppet would replace him and the problem would still remain. We all know Suhail is the owners go to man without anonymous attention seeking twitter accounts or indeed anyone of a similar ilk suggesting as such. Hes clearly very close them hence that grotesque picture of him and Balaji that keeps doing the rounds offending our eyes. The fact that we are talking about this deep into a transfer window with a game 2 days away that we can barely name 12 players for tells you a lot.
  4. Even if he is doing that, and I dont know how anonymous attention seeking twitter accounts or people on here know exactly the relationship and dynamics between Suhail and the owners. It is still on the owners either way. "Badly advised" again?
  5. He/she has, just another ITK attention seeker. But either way, Suhail is just a lapdog. People seem desperate to imply that the owners are willing to spend and it just happens that various different people have told them not to or simply not asked.
  6. We are at a stage of the window now where no matter how bad our signings are, many will be out in force with the "people moaned there werent signings now people moan when we do sign players" regardless of if they are what we need.
  7. Rovers Insider has always been full of shit.
  8. His imagination is running wild again tonight.
  9. Amazing how one person just randomly saying someone is signing with no context and anyone believes it.
  10. We need a winger that is actually solely signed to play as a winger. Well, we need 2 really. We dont need another utility man who could then play elsewhere whilst the likes of Hedges and Dolan plod up and down contributing nothing.
  11. Maybe Coventry are doing something unheard of and trying to do more than the bare minimum to strengthen. Hoping that Coventry choose not to bother with the 32 year old winger that we can then take would be rather depressing.
  12. So to clarify, we started sniffing around Coventry players, they beat us with one of those players scoring and are now outbidding us for our other supposed targets?
  13. The thing is when you even play one with one of the players we have as back up, so say Buckley or inevitably Forshaw. They will drag Tronstad or Travis down with them. Shouldnt be at the club.
  14. To say that those players even have moments is generous. Hedges in particular.
  15. He seems like a liability from the few corners they put in and was responsible for the goal.
  16. The same person also thinks that Ryan Hedges deserves a new deal so standards are very low.
  17. Also please ask about why after a spell of renewing contracts under Broughton, that Gestede has failed to sort one single one out.
  18. Todays transfer update from Eustace is not that we are close to signing anyone. Not that we will need one or two more than planned now our midfield and defence which have been the strength of our team is falling apart. Just that he is "hopeful" that we will strengthen at all. He seems frustrated.
  19. Travis, Tronstad, Brittain, Batth have all played game after game and the strain of having a small squad has led to these injuries. The likes of Carter, Pickering and Sigurdsson (not that we miss him) are injury prone anyway. And as has been the case for years, hence the constant second half of the season declines, when you peel beyond our first 11 our squad players are nowhere near good enough. Forshaw, Buckley, Hedges etc. Not Championship standard. We will fall soon out of top 6 contention. Gueye's general play was good. His finishing is very bad.
  20. What does that even mean? In his last season we sold a player he signed for £3m for £15m, they didnt reinvest anything, they wouldnt give him a reasonable budget in January or even allow him to trade to get a budget, and then we ran out of steam. And then that lack of funding has continued since. He left us in a better position than he took us over in. Im sure he did want promotion and a pay rise, he just wasnt capable.
  21. Dread to think what the team will be. Bristol City will be expecting their easiest 3 points of the season. Our attack has failed to score in 5 of the last 8 games and our defence is ridden with injuries and has gone from being incredibly well protected to likely the flimsiest midfield pairing in the league
  22. On a night when we lose and our small fragile squad continues to disintegrate, you choose to focus partially on someone who managed us seasons ago, describing him as "despicable" and justifying it with illogical nonsense. The owners deserve all of the blame.
  23. The team we will field at the weekend is beyond worrying and its very difficult to give us a hope of a result. The squad is falling apart because of a lack of quality and crucially depth. We are in terrible form and our players are falling apart due to over playing leaving us with a skeleton squad. Its happened over the last 3 seasons causing a tailspin in the second half of the season and it is happening again. There was a lack of quality on show throughout. Hedges, Buckley, Forshaw, Dolan etc all not up to standard. Gueye could still be out there now and would still not have scored.
