It's galling when you shell out a lot of money and see poor performances. But looking at the season as a whole, we are still doing better than we could have hoped in August, or November for that matter. All mid table teams ahve good and bad runs - it's our turn for the results to go agaisnt us. Afterall it's only a bloody game.

Incredible. As for Ferdinand, I was gob-smacked by his behaviour. The lad was getting as much abuse by the Rovers' crowd as I can remember. It felt like bullying. However I joined in long and loud. What I did find bizarre was his return to the pitch before the second half started. He ran round the perimeter of the pitch sticking his chin out, grabbing the United crest on his shirt. It was like a ten year old, rather than a top pro on £110k per week. I've never seen anything like it. I was surprised he lasted as long as he did. The best game I've seen in over 30 years following t'Rovers.

Neil, I work in city-centre Manchester and live in Chorlton, South Manchester - a twenty minute walk to OT. Getting a tram to and from the ground from the city-centre can be very very difficult, especially for an evening game. I have to leave work an hour earlier than usual to have any chance of getting home on match days. One option is to get the Eccles line tram and get off at one of the Salford Quays stations, therefore avoiding the busier Altrincham line.
