  1. That’s not Nyambe’s man for their goal!
  2. Afraid not today. These teatime kickoffs don’t make it easy timing wise, and our xL (expected listener... sorry, couldn’t resist!) would be low. Will do a show on Tuesday though. The extra hour makes all the difference.
  3. Although it’s unlikely, Mowbray could relegate us to the third tier twice. That would make him the worst manager in our history I reckon.
  4. Don’t be silly folks, it doesn’t matter how many season tickets we actually sell. Waggott will be reporting back to Pune that our xST is 22,000
  5. I wouldn’t be surprised if this table got sent over to India and it was implied it was the actual table. I’m only half joking.
  6. Mowbray is very much the subject of today’s Rovers Radio show. https://roversradio.co.uk/listen-live From 1pm
  7. Yeah, I expect so. Hopefully they will both be gone sooner rather than later.
  8. If a hypothetical situation existed where we could only get rid of either Waggott or Mowbray, I’d choose Waggott all day long. I’m dreading this summer.
  9. Just had a look at some of the comments on that article... ”Rovers are a well run club” I fucking despair.
  10. 16. Didn’t read the Champions League question properly.
  11. Ask him to bring Akinfenwa with him. He’d be more use than Gallagher and Brereton.
  12. Disgraceful half that! Midfield 3 a joke, Elliott a luxury we can’t afford, Gallagher and Brereton both brainless, limited and totally unsuited to how we play, JRC struggled enormously defensively and once again looked like an winger being played out of position. Plus point is Lenihan and Harwood-Bellis have stood up to the physical test pretty well.
  13. Of course not! Just amazing how many still not only buy into his bullshit but try to help spin it.
  14. Yep! And they have to keep the parent clubs happy.
  15. So despite the fact Mowbray has been talking about how the next few games will “shape our transfers” this summer, and we’d be giving some of the young lads a go, 7 of the starting 11 aren’t contracted beyond the end of the season.
  16. It’s definitely indifferent Friday. I expect to be mildly annoyed before kickoff due to some head scratching selections, but this will give way to being fairly pleased at getting three points. Im resigned to the fact we will just stumble on to the end of the season, but I really hope we have changes in the dugout and the boardroom over the summer.
  17. Link to Telegraph Story Interesting timing... Talk of differences of opinion with the likes of Ayala and Pickering, and then there’s the ongoing training ground saga. Also strange considering we have constantly been told about how much work (and money) has gone into building the recruitment team over the last few years, not to mention they have the biggest job in recent memory on this summer. If someone would choose to go to Sunderland - consistently the biggest basket case of a club for the last few years, it may suggest not all is as rosy at Ewood and Brockhall as some would have believe. Hope this doesn’t mean the Coventrio is about to become the Coventry Quartet.
  18. From his point of view he may be worried about being played out of position. He’s been widely quoted as stating he sees himself as a winger/wide forward. Perhaps there’s some concern that playing at full back may prevent him from realising his full potential?
  19. “I am very much opposed to this development. It is not, in any way, an attempt by BRFC to integrate itself with this village and the surrounding area. Quite the opposite, you will alienate us all. It appears to be a financial strategy to ease the club’s downward spiralling poor financial position (by selling its existing training assets to build houses) caused by poor management in recent years.” Mr Carl Allen of the Brockhall residents group clearly gets it.
  20. No, the answer is getting in a better manager, and CEO for that matter. If we are making the most of what we have currently though, playing players in their actual positions helps.
  21. If we played Gallagher as a centre forward, with JRC on the wing putting in crosses to him, I expect they have their days a lot more often.
  22. Today again showing we have good players who have underperformed this season. JRC looks like a top drawer winger. Gallagher showing what he can do with a decent delivery when he is in the box. As much grief as I’ve give Lenihan over the last 12 months he showed he can defend today. Kaminski with some great saves. When we did the simple things that come naturally to players, we look good. If we lost the stupid, stubborn insistence on playing people out of position to fit in this stupid system a while ago, a point today might have been an important one rather than being irrelevant.
  23. I’d say that’s actually pretty high numbers against for a Twitter poll. You only need to look at where the votes went in the legends 11 poll the club ran a while back to see how much recency bias and shallow knowledge exists on that platform. If/when Rovers Trust poll their paid up members I guarantee the results would be very different.
  24. That’s the Community Trust. Different entity that is run by the club. Rovers Trust is an independent supporters trust.
