  1. It’s HSH. The shared agents of Bowyer, Lambert, Coyle and Mowbray. We went into more detail on our show last night. Available on demand, just select PODCAST from the menu... https://roversradio.airtime.pro/#
  2. Some pre match build up and a lot of current issues being discussed from 6pm https://roversradio.co.uk/listen-live We will open with a song dedicated to Mowbray
  3. Chaddy - it’s interesting you are so affronted by fans referring to Nyambe as a prospect because he is 23. You don’t seem to mind Mowbray referring to him and players of a similar age as young boys and babies. What you are saying about Raya is complete revisionism. You might get away with it in a decade or so, but not while the stench of Christian Walton still lingers.
  4. He is left to defend 2 or 3 v 1 multiple times every game. And who should he cross to? Gallagher will be stood in the corner flag looking to play a 1-2, Armstrong will be lurking on the edge looking for the 30 yarder... our movement in the box is woeful. Nothing much wrong with his delivery when he has a target. Nyambe will get a move to a club better positioned than us and never look back. He’ll play in the premier league within 3 years. Meanwhile, our fans can re-imagine him as an utter bastard and a liability, and claim that £2 million and a sell on fee was shrewd business when he is linked to a decent Premier League outfit for big money. And we can all happily rave about how lucky we were to see Harwood-Bellis in blue and white when he makes his move to Crystal Palace in search of first team football in 2025, while we wonder if this season we will finish 8th, 9th, 10th or 11th.
  5. That’s the last game that stands out as an excellent performance. Spot on with what you say about our early season form. We are now a far cry away from anything approaching those early performances, and Mowbray appears to be getting increasingly desperate, but equally unable to recreate it. Sadly those performances seem to be the exception. The last couple of months of dross looks to be Mowbray’s normal.
  6. We talk about people currently with HSH. To be honest we haven’t spent a great deal of time discussing our preferred replacements because I don’t believe Mowbray is under any pressure from Venky’s and won’t be going anywhere soon. On air from 6pm - 7pm https://roversradio.co.uk/listen-live also worth noting we recorded yesterday afternoon before his latest interviews. There’d be some talking points with this latest nonsense.
  7. The agency that represents Mowbray... and Coyle... and Lambert... and Bowyer... and is made up of 2 ex SEM directors.
  8. Playlist for tomorrow’s Rovers Radio Pre Match Show...
  9. Mowbray’s recent interviews should be hugely concerning to any member of the board or the owners. He sounds like he has lost the plot. His latest comments about Nyambe are dreadful. The worst example in a long line of very shoddy treatment he has dished out to him. We discussed this massively on our Saturday show on Rovers Radio. It’ll be touched on again tomorrow... but we recorded before this interview went to press. Also gonna be discussing the HSH link, looking at possible replacements, being generally pissed off, and bemoaning the fact that we don’t actually think he is under any pressure. Oh, and the show kicks off, rather appropriately with “Go Now” by Moody Blues. Limbo.
  10. Just over half an hour to go... https://roversradio.co.uk/listen-live
  11. Fair point. Our margins on all products are pretty minimal. We don’t have the financial clout to hold stock so we use a service that allows us to print on order. We do continually look for ways to bring the costs down and hopefully we can do so substantially in the future. Can’t make any promises, but hopefully it’ll be soon. 🤞🤞 The price point I don’t think is too dissimilar to a gig t-shirt, kind of how we wanted to pitch them. I don’t think the comparisons to Waggott’s surcharge are fair. We can’t help the tax, and I find it incredibly annoying. It’s not an attempt to grab money. Anything we do make off merchandise goes back into the running of Rovers Radio where costs run into thousands of pounds per year.
  12. A small selection of the merchandise available at roversradio.co.uk
  13. 6pm this evening, Rovers Radio Pre Match Show www.roversradio.co.uk There’s a lot of talk tonight about Mowbray, our “formation”, Nyambe and more. Some good music too.
  14. I’m a big fan of Reggae and any precursor to or derivative there of. Got a pretty decent Trojan collection. I like that Kiko Bun track a lot! 👍
  15. There’s two Rovers Radio shows coming your way this weekend... www.roversradio.co.uk Friday, 6pm - Pre Match Show It’s a ranty one this week! Topics for discussion include Formations, The QPR game, and one of our favourite topics, the Nyambe situation. Playlist so far contains Northside, Pere Ubu, Blackburn’s own Illicits... still time to get a request in! Sunday sees the debut of our new show Sound of the Season from 11am. It’s brought to you in conjunction with BRFCS... you may be able to guess the season in question from the images below...
  16. We’ve got a pre-match show on Friday... guaranteed plenty of whining in that one!
  17. You can listen live at 11 am on Sunday 14th here... https://roversradio.co.uk/ We’re really excited about this collaboration, hope you enjoy it! Some updates to the site and shop coming this week too.
  18. Where’s all the where’s all the Mowbray out brigade brigade?
  19. Yeah, he looked great! Would be nice to see him get a bit of a run.
  20. The show started off well. Goldberg and McIntyre was the best booked thing all night. Carmella v Banks was decent. The women’s rumble was messy and eliminations needed pacing better. As an irregular viewer I don’t get the hype around Bianca Belair. There’s a big difference between making new stars and giving everybody a go at the top. Flair is the biggest star in Women’s wrestling for several generations and will remain so. Rhea Ripley has got it all though and either seemed a better choice of winner. The whole 24/7 thing is shit. Reigns v Owens was exactly as expected. Spots over story, with finding new ways to jump off things being more important than logic. The ref who just gave up on counting when Paul E couldn’t unlock the cuffs just botched bigger than that Jericho Lionsault the other week. WWE production values are always great, but at times this verged on being over the top. Some strange camera work and frantic angle changes that threatened to induce seizures. Not Kevin Dunn’s finest hour. Its becoming far too frequent that people who join rumbles early go all the way. It was almost an afterthought that Edge drew number one. Christian’s return was brilliant and I’d be much more invested in the idea of a long term reunion with him and Edge than Edge in a title program. So glad Rollins didn’t win, the Orton injury thing had little to no payoff, some nice cameos, Miz thing was pathetic, Damian Priest looks the business, strap a rocket to Bobby Lashley, Style’s big man adds an interesting dynamic, Riddle and Big E had good nights too.
  21. Can see all of that happening. Hoping against hope you are wrong with Rollins though. That would be as boring as everything else they are doing.
  22. Anybody tuning in to the Rumble tomorrow? I’m well out of the loop with most of the current product. I’ve found the vast majority of their recent programming boring or stupid, and I find AEW’s irritating and stupid, but I’m always hopeful for the rumble. A couple of surprises would be nice, nostalgic ones preferably. Seeing Daniel Bryan is being touted as the favourite... I can get on board with that.
