  1. Almost felt like it was JDT with some weird “they’re too passionate I don’t want them involved” or something. Was Adam injured? The Scott Wharton choice a complete head scratcher. Imagine his manager leaving Maldini (obviously not comparing Wharton as Maldini as players) on the bench for a Milan derby.
  2. Back home and got half way through this thread but thought I’d share feelings before being influenced by comments… Referee first off all…let the game flow perhaps being generous but some home bias there from clear fouls, clear yellows, clear shithousing, clear corners etc…not a weak ref necessarily but just pretty useless. I’ve not seen replays of Diaz push in the back or Diaz potential handball yet so can’t comment on that. The team…I have to admit I saw the line up and thought what the….Mola first league start? Garrett about 4th? Neither Wharton starting? What on earth. Not sure who was injured etc but just seemed very bizarre to just go rogue like that, especially after the cup where we rested players. Honestly don’t think JDT has a scooby and I fear for our regression after the World Cup. Horrible feeling losing to them, but they’re so far superior it’s crazy this was even a 2nd v 3rd battle. Let’s just hope we can cling on to the top 6…..and beat them at Home!
  3. I’d honestly think Lampard would have the opposite affect on a player. They would be less likely to want to play for Everton with him there.
  4. Wouldn’t dream of leaving the car there! Burnley would be an ideal location for a Ryanair airport to be fair, with it still called ‘Manchester’
  5. I’d be surprised if Diaz goes abroad in January given our position. Ithink his choice would be promotion with Rovers, big pay rise and Prem football. If we don’t go up he’ll get that anyway, elsewhere, so no worries for him.
  6. At the airport ready for tomorrow….nerves are starting to kick in. Our other rivals have tough games today. Lots away from home so hopefully we get some results go our way!
  7. You’re comparing Championship football (23 games a season) to Peter Kay’s stand up tour, consider he hasn’t toured for years, plays a handful of gigs in a region etc …..your tongue must be sawdust on those boots Chaddy
  8. EFL in Focus: Burnley v Rovers (YouTube Video) Nice little preview for everyone to start the weekend.
  9. That’s not what he said at all, he said “cannot” and “his hands are tied” Why should it matter what others charge us anyway? Makes zero difference to what we’re discussing (our home attendances)
  10. We're away from home on the 17th and the 26th so in reality we only have 1 home game before Christmas (PNE on the 10th) until this draw was made. Great excuse for some Christmas marketing. £10 adult and £1 kid should sell out lower tier BBE and most of JW with 5k Forest fans I'd imagine 18k or so on the gate. Could go for something like £5 for a season ticket holder or £5 if you buy a Preston ticket too. Got a month to advertise that and might help PNE walk ons too As others have said, it's literally a free, unexpected hit - which might help shift some half season tickets.
  11. Sorry, you lost me at "Kane is average"
  12. That's not what you said. You said it has to be agreed between the clubs. i.e. home fixture = away fixture. We can charge £5 for our fans, we'd have to do it for the away fans too but there is nothing about an agreement between the two clubs that is needed as you implied.
  13. Yeah I had an exam the next day and decided not to go - wasn’t much revising going down when Kalinic put us 2-0 up! Anyway, Forest at home, about as boring as it gets from those teams. Hopefully a 2nd string team for them. Do they have many World Cup internationals they’d rest?
  14. At least its not Villa again! Didn’t we play them like 6 times in one season under Allardyce.
  15. Friday evening out and Sunday evening return @BigBarshould sort you out for a nice bank holiday. I’d imagine it’ll be the same slot as this one though, Sunday midday.
  16. Southamptons appointment reminded me of this beauty….I always get great joy reading the comments back at when they sacked Adkins and got in Pochettino, well worth reading the replies…
  17. I think a Liverpool tie would be better than the mid-table / bottom half clubs. They’ll stick out a youth team and have no depth whereas the likes of Leicester and Wolves will see it as a cup chance. City though…their reserves are top 4 quality I'll Take: Liverpool, United, Burnley, MK Dons, Charlton, Lincoln, Gillingham I'd Hate: Brighton Away, Leicester, Villa, Wolves, Southampton Away, Bournemouth Away Indifferent on the rest i.e. Newcastle away will be good trip and City will be fun regardless of the fact we'll get battered.
  18. 19 consecutive successful penalties is about 1000/1 if we consider the standard of player diminishes as it progresses
  19. Interesting that the next round is 20th/21st December so it’ll be first game back for Prem teams after the World Cup…..not sure if that means they rest players ahead of Boxing Day or would they play them as a warm up if they’ve not played for a while
  20. Date is 20th/21st Dec I think for fixtures
  21. Hirst up 9th. Confidence must be shot. Some team spirit though. Well done to all involved. Gillingham at home next round please or United away (if they win) for a Christmas piss up. Such bad FOMO missing out tonight - enjoy it all you lads in London Hope we’ve not used up all our luck ahead of Sunday
  22. Which of Masterchef or I’m a Celeb is your poison?
  23. Will the penalties be shown at all on the Sky Sports show do we think?
