New Camera Position In Riverside
Mike Graham replied to AshleyClifford's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The existing camera gantry in the JW will be great to hang "Venky's Out" banners from. -
Ticket bought.
-
Do you think we would sell our allocation for the Wham Stadium?
-
I will go to their play off games if they do not get automatic promotion.
-
2,609 on yesterday (342 from Morecambe).
-
It will probably be a gate to rival Rovers The banners and flags at Accy are always a credit to their fans.
-
Chorley....don't forget Chorley.

At last out goal difference is worth an extra point. It shows how good our defence has been all season.......gulp!! -
The Toby Inn at Newport is decent. Nice roast beef dinner for £5.95. The Lime & Lemon was also on good form. Bit of a drive from Lancashire mind.

I think the real issue is Police resources thanks to budget cuts and a lack of overtime. You may not have realised it, nor believe it, but the Burnley game a couple of weeks back had the lowest number of police on duty for that game for many years. A great pity for the under 21's as it should be a great game.

Some great potential grounds for us to visit next season: Bury, Burton, Southend and Shrewsbury. It was a long time since I saw Rovers win at Southend. Me thinks it was 2-0. -

I reckon 0 out of 15 points for the next 5 games. -
Remember it well and I will always remember Howard as a fantastic manager. Unfortunately he liked the alcohol a wee bit too much but he was always the perfect gentleman. RIP Howard.

Aye young Gav. 'Twas in the Royal Oak on Sunday afternoon giving advice on Steve Kean, Gary Bowyer, Shelfy and co to the assembled. It is a class joint if it puts up with me.

I am still waiting for my Wolves pie. The Venkys could not organise a pie eating contest in Wigan. -
One of my neighbours who, is a drinking pal of mine, has a daughter who was in Emmerdale, Hotel Babylon, 3 Musketeers and a period drama called something like Downton Abbey. Her husband Andy Buchan is also in a few things and has just pocketed a mega multi-million dollar contract in Vancouver for a new TV psycho thriller. When we have drinks at Xmas and Easter they are amazed I have never seen them on the telly. Luckily they are down to earth, realise I rarely watch the telly and take the Mick out of me.

I do watch the occasional wildlife programme and travel documentaries. If Rovers are on Sky I go to one of ,y neighbours and watch it there. As for shows I used to like the Black and White Minsterals and I rather liked Captain Pugwash as a child.

Erhh. I have never seen Mock the Week and have never heard of any of the above people. Rarely watch telly given there is so much rubbish on.

Just about sums up the situation Kamy. Sounds a wee bit depressing to me. -
And some of the "punters" are very pleasant as well :-)

I agree with you Paul re The Dressers. It was a great pub but it is now soulless and full of the same brickabrack that adorns too many pub walls. The beer is also so so. If going for a beer I prefer the Top Lock, for food it is now The Royal Oak although that has not always been the case. Although I should add I did have a pleasant time after the last game of last season when 20 or so of us had a few beers after the game.

I could always phone up and say my name is Mrs Bowyer. How would they know?
